"What's fucking wrong with you!?", you yelled at Tom.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit him so hard.", Tom tried to defend himself, he didn't really care if he had hurt Shawn, he just didn't want to hurt you.

"I can't believe you! Why would do that!? What the fuck is wrong with you!?", she was repeating herself, shocked from all the blood and her best friend lying on the ground in front of her, watching him falling in and out of consciousness. "I can't believe I ever liked you." She mumbled under her breath, but Tom heard every single word that left her mouth. It hurt so much to hear that. So much that he had to turn his eyes away from her.

"I'm really sorry y/n. I never meant to hurt him.", Tom lets out a sigh he didn't even know he was holding in. You looked beautiful to Tom even when you were on the ground, with tears running down your face. Tom slowly got closer to you.

"Don't come any closer to me.", she tells him, still trying to keep her eyes on her best friend, scared for his life.

"I just got so mad when he touched you. I'm really sorry y/n, you need to believe me.", Tom tried his hardest to make you believe him, but he knew that you needed some time to think about everything. He didn't even know what to do, he didn't know how to help Shawn or what he should say to make it all go away. Shawn's eyes open again, he looks up and tries to get up but falls back on the ground again. He tried to say something, but you don't let him.

"The ambulance is here.", Tom lets her know when they had finally made it. He helps her up and makes her stay away from Shawn as the paramedics help him. Tom didn't even listen to the conversation between y/n and the paramedics.

"Is anyone coming with us?", One of them asked and y/n nodded her head as she got into the ambulance with them.

Looking at the ambulance door closing, Tom felt like a piece of him was gone with her. He had never felt like this with anyone before. He had never had this kind of feelings for someone before her. He didn't even know what he was feeling when he was with her, but one thing is sure, and it was that he may have lost her just because he got into a fight. Not into just any fight, but into a fight with her best friend, who she was really close with. But he knew that Shawn had to have feelings for y/n, Tom was so damn sure about that. How had he fucked up so badly this time? He had been in a fight before, but this one was the worst one yet because she was involved in it.

The only thing Tom can remember is how Shawn accidentally hit y/n and after that the only thing he could see was red. Shawn had hit the only girl Tom actually liked. Someone who cared about him like no girl before her ever had. After the red, he can remember calling 911 for her best friend, and then the nasty words she had yelled at him- but he knew that he deserved every one of them. Tom never wanted to hurt Shawn like that, just knock some sense into him. He wasn't actually a bad guy he just wanted to show Shawn that he didn't have the right to hurt her like he had. But at the same time, he had hurt her too; when she saw him and Zendaya kissing, but the thing was, she didn't know what had really happened.

It had been almost an hour since he walked into the diner, still hoping that she would just walk in at any given moment, but no, she didn't. His chocolate brown eyes were glued to the door waiting for her to just walk in and tell him she talked with her mum on the phone or something similar. Not wanting to believe that she just left him there without saying anything. She wouldn't do that to him, right?

After waiting for her for so long, he just got up and walked outside, still hoping to see her somewhere talking on her phone, but no. Tom was so confused with everything. You were having a good time, he was sure about it. Tom thought for a minute before making his way to y/n's dorm. He just wanted to know what happened, maybe something had come up, and that's the reason you left?
