chapter seven

After you chat with Shawn you to walk to school together. You tried to make it as normal as possible but you still could feel the tension in the air but hoping that it was just you and Shawn didn't feel the same way. He walks you to class but before leaving he hugs you like it would be the last time he sees you.

"Let's get lunch at the diner after school, eh?" he ask you and you give him a big smile.

"Our spot?", you ask him and he nods his head for a yes "See you there then." you tell him before walking into the classroom.
Your eyes automatically run around the class trying to find the sweet boy you spend time with last night. When you finally see him your heart drops a little because he isn't sitting alone but a boy sits on the other side of him who you knew was his best friend Harrison or Haz. Tom talked a lot about him and you remember him from the diner when he and Tom interrupted your lunch with Shawn.
But on the other side of Tom sits a pretty girl with long brown hair. They were talking about something until your eyes meet with Harrisons. He nudges Tom and his eyes quickly locks with yours. You panic so you give him a smile and sit on the closest free chair you see. There wasn't any room next to him so you would just sit here alone. Also you didn't want everyone to think you were sleeping around with Tom, that you were just another 'victim'.

"Hey you, move." you hear someone says to the guy beside you. Turning to look at the guy who sat next to you. He quickly gathered his things with a fearful look in his eyes. You look past the kid and there was Tom.
"Tom what are you doing?" you ask Tom with a confused tone.

"I want to sit next to you and if you don't come to me I'll go to you, darling." he smiled as the boy next to you gets up, "Thanks bro." Tom pats his back before taking a set on the guys old seat.

"Why would you do that?" you whisper to him as the professor walked in.

"Well you didn't come to me so I thought you wanted me to come to you?" he had a confused look on his face.

"Oh..." you mumble to him "I just sat down here because the seat next to you was taken already." You let him know before you turn to face the front of the classroom when the professor starts to talk.

"She just sat down there, she would have moved if you came there. I want to sit next to you, not her." Tom tells you with a worried tone, almost like he thought you'd be mad at him.

"It's fine, Tom." you whisper with a sweet smile "But now just let me listen to the professor okay?"

"Okay if you'll spend time with me after class?" Tom whispers to your ear.

"Can't after class." You mumble to him trying not to get the attention of the professor again.

"Why not..." Tom sounded disappointed.

"I'm having lunch with Shawn, but after that im free." you whisper to him before going back to the class, not talking to Tom even though he tried his best to get you to talk to him and give him attention.

After the professor ended the lesson with a reminder for the homework next week everyone got up from their chairs.
"Finally its over." Tom groans to you, clearly not used to be quiet in the class and actually study.

"Come on, It wasn't so bad." you chuckle at him as you get ready to leave for your next class.

"Are you kidding me? It was so boring! So long without hearing your beautiful voice darling." Tom tells you with his sweet voice, "I missed you." he joked.

"Oh come on, Tom, you sat next to me the whole class." you tell him with a smile on your lips, "Okay I need to go, see you later." you tell him but he pulls you back into a hug.
