To say Riley is mad is an understatement.

Riley is furious. Fred has landed her in detention, on the first day! She was going to do something, she was but Fred just had to "save her". She was fine on her own. She doesn't need him casting spells for her.

Fred isn't the happiest that he is in detention with Zabini but he is happy he got it with Riley, he wants to get to know her and talk to her more. If she will talk to him that is.

Sitting in her dorm room finishing her homework, she scribbles down some last notes and closes her books. She sighs as she prepares for her detention.

"Well, I think Fred's cute." Jade states.

"Don't let him hear you say that or we'll never get his fat head out the door." Sophie laughs.

"I can't believe you got detention with Fred Weasley!" Olivia giggles.

"Can you all stop crushing on him, please. It's disgusting." Riley insists.

The thoughts of Fred makes her skin crawl and she can't bear to think about him. She grabs her robe and throws it on.

"I'm going now. I'll see you tomorrow." She yells back to the girls.

"Okay, Prince Charming awaits!" Jade mocks.

"Tell Fred I said hi!" Olivia smiles.

Riley leaves the Hufflepuff basement and heads to the classroom when she runs into Fred.

"Hello, Ms Finnigan." He greets her.

"Hello, Fred." She says flatly.

"Someone is awfully cheery today aren't they?" He adds sarcastically.

"Only cause of you." She mimics his toned.

"Ooooh, this will be fun!" He grins.

"Just do as Zabini says and we'll only have this one. It's bad enough you got me this one, please don't get me another." She pleads.

"Oh don't worry about me." Fred smirks.

"I only worry about you." Riley replies as she opens the door. To her and Fred's surprise, it is Professor Longbottom.

"Good evening. Zab- ehem, Professor Zabini is sickly, so I'll be taking you for detention instead." Neville declares.

"That's good news." Fred says nudging Riley.

"I have a feeling about where this is going." She sighs.

"Ah, Riley you know me too well." Professor jokes.

"Wait, what's going on?" Fred asks confused.

"Just tell him, will take that stupid smirk off his face." Riley answers.

"Your Professor didn't leave any work so ... that left me to choose your punishment. I couldn't help notice today in my class you two didn't seem too happy about being paired together, it was subtle not because Riley was threatening me to change it. So as punishment, for whatever you did today in Professor Zabini's class, you two have to talk to each other and get to know each other the entire time! " Longbottom squeals now revealing his master plan.

"That's not too bad." Fred chimes.

"Not for you it isn't." Riley mumbles.

"Oh also I won't be in the room, I'll be next store. I'm not the nosey type." The Professor calls, basically skipping out of the room, clearly chuffed by what he saw as a genius plan.

Riley looks at the door in shock. She can't believe her favourite teacher would do this, he is still her favourite though, no one else can be better than the Neville Longbottom.
