"You realize when she finds out you're a dead man?" James laughs at Fred once he is told what he did.
"Of course I know that." Fred sighs as he looks at his plate.
"This is the best day ever, thank you, Fredrick, from the bottom of my heart." James giggles as he grabs onto his robes that are slightly damaged from all the pranks Fred played on him, much like his father, Fred is a massive prankster.
"Shut up!" Fred hits him in the arm.
The two boys watch as the Hufflepuff in question walks by them.
"Hey, Riley!" James calls her over.
"Oh, hey James. Hi Fred." She greets the two boys.
"How are you?" James asks.
"I'm great! What about you guys?" Riley smiles.
"I could be better but it's... well we were just having a debate, I think it's one of the worst things in the world for people who are my friends to lie about me to another person behind my back and Fred thinks it's not that bad. What do you think?" James queries, he points in between himself and Fred.
"Oh um, well if it was a small lie maybe it's okay, depending on the circumstances but usually, I'm against lying about other people. " Riley states while she twiddles her fingers.
"Ooohhh interesting." James side-eyes Fred.
"Well I better be going, I hope you guys figure out that debate soon." Riley waves as she walks back to the Hufflepuff table.
"Bye Riley." The two boys say in unison.
"I'm dead." Fred cries once Riley is out of earshot, he slams his head down on the table.
"You really are. It was nice knowing ya cuz!" James mocks, he pats him on the back and the hallow sound makes him laugh.
"You need to help me! What do I do?" Fred pleads, he raises his head up.
"Now how in the world am I meant to know? You could tell her what you did." James suggests.
"Are you insane?! She'll hate me. It took me 3 years for her to talk to me after the last time." Fred squeals.
"Okay okay, we can't have the romance get hurt, can we? I could tell her." James burst out laughing.
"You're no help." Fred huffs, he places his head back down onto the table.
"Oh, you're fine." James claims.
"I'm really not. How do I fix this?" Fred mumbles into the wooden table.
"You have to tell her. I would rather hear it from you than from some random Bulgarian guy if I was her." James answers.
"Ugh fine but how do I even bring that up?" Fred asks, he looks up once again at his cousin.
"Easy. Ask to chat with her. Then explain." James states.
At the Hufflepuff table, Riley is getting grilled by Tom.
"So what was up with earlier?" He cocks an eyebrow.
"Oh, Fred and I were chosen to show some Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students around. It was fun." Riley explains while she moves her food around her plate.
"Oh, why Fred? I get you but not Fred Weasley. He's a joker and he isn't the most academic." Tom rambles.
"Uh, I think it was based on the personality's, not grades. I don't know though." Riley looks down.
