Riley wakes up to a face standing over her. A smile sneaking onto that face above her.
"Good Morning Jade, you're up early." Riley rubs her eyes as the bright lights coming from the little window attacks her newly opened eyes. "I imagine Sophie and Olivia are at breakfast."
"Yes they are indeed and I know! It's quite interesting, on my weekend and all! I just can't contain my excitement!" Jade beams.
"Excited for Hogsmeade then?" Riley laughs as she throws her duvet off her body and throws on her bathrobe.
"Of course! It's not every day we get to go!" Jade points at the cheerful girl.
"Yeah, it's every two out of the possible seven in a week." Riley giggles as she throws on a thick woolly jumper.
"Aren't you excited?" Jade sits on Riley's once occupied bed.
"In all honesty, I didn't plan ongoing today. I'd imagine you have some sort of date because you weren't half as excited...well ever." Riley smirks.
"You aren't going?! Why?" Jade's eyes fly out of her head.
"Stop changing the subject, who is it?" Riley jumps onto her bed to join Jade.
"No one, honestly." Jade throws up her hands.
"Too bad I don't believe you!" Riley yells as she jumps onto her best friend and starts to tickle her for information.
"Okay okay! It's Stefen! It's Stefen! Stop! Stop!" Jade roars of laughter can be heard probably on the other side of the castle.
"STEFEN! Oh my Merlin! Really? Oh, why aren't you ready yet? When are you meeting? Did he ask you? Did you ask him? Spill spill spill!" Riley rushes.
"Okay, calm down," Jade places her hands on Riley's shoulders, " he asked me, and I'm not ready yet because we are meeting at 11 by the courtyard." Jade says in a matter of factly tone.
"Oooooo, aren't you just the belle of the ball?" Riley winks at Jade.
"Don't start. Speaking of balls? What about Fred, is he any better with you going to the Yule with James?" Jade's smile falls softly on her face.
"I think he's accepted it, I mean I don't know, I suppose he's still confused on my part of saying yes." Riley expression wavers for a second until she looks back up to Jade where she holds a strong smile.
"Come here." Jade pulls her into a strong hug.
"I'm alright." Riley let's out a breathy laugh.
"I know, but I just wanted to hug you." Jade informs Riley.
"Well, that's okay then." Riley tightens the hug.
When they let go, Riley convinces Jade to start getting ready. As Jade goes to do so Riley tells her she'll meet her in the Great Hall. As Riley moves from the quad dorm to the common room she smiles as she sees a happy Sophie with an older boy she can't remember the name of and Olivia with a boy she remembers from their year that goes by Harold. Taking a very short walk to the great hall Riley arrives to see Bill chatting with Ollie.
"Good Morning Boys." She greets them as she slipped into the bench to face them.
"Hey Riley, you going to Hogsmeade?" Ollie asks.
"Not today Oliver, sadly, I've got a few things linking me to stay at Hogwarts today." She shrugs in acceptance.
"Oh well there's always next time, I've got to go...um I'll see you later Bill and uh you too Riley." Ollie rushes.
