LID - Chapter 28

Lisa's POV

Today is the day! Finally, it's Jennie's birthday and I'm sure, we're gonna have soooooooooo much fun! By the way, Jennie and Taehyung are now back to normal as if nothing happened last night. But I'm pretty sure, they're now closer than before. Anyways, I'm currently looking for my bestfriend, Rose right now since she was no where to be found in the room the time I woke up. So, I've decided to go look around and find her. She seems to be busy these days for not spending some time with me knowing the last time I've talk to her was the time before I lost consciousness. I've also decided to just shrug it off about the memories I have back then while I was child and just be what I have now. I mean, why force something that's not meant to be happened "yet", right? Well, I do want to know my past. But I think it's better to just go with the flow. Someday, when the time is right, I'll probably know it.

Oh, there she is!

"Chae!"

She seems to be in deep thought.

"Yoohooo! Chae."

Being a fangirl to an idol (male) be like: "Notice me, oppa!" Haha, just kidding!

"Sorry, I didn't notice you there."

I just pulled her wrist and sat down on the chair not so far to where we are because knowing this girl, she got a problem on her head right now.

"Spill the beans."

She gets it. She knows what I meant. But, she just kept quiet.

"Hey. What is it? Tell me what's wrong. You know you can trust me, right? I'm your bestfriend."

She let out a loud sigh and finally speak up.

"I like someone."

Huh? Then, what's wrong?

I just kept quiet and waited for her to continue.

"But, he likes someone else."

Oh... I see.

"Well, don't worry. I'm sure he'll end up liking you too. Who does not like my pasta anyway? Tell me and I'll break his bones from the top of his head until the tip of his toes."

She just smiled at me.

"A smile? Chae, I thought you're gonna laugh at it like you always do. But, you seem to be serious. Who is this guy anyways? And who is that girl that he likes? She better be someone as good as my Chae or else..."

I wasn't able to continue with what I was supposed to say when she answered...

"You."

One word. But you can definitely hear her voice crack. Damn! Among all the people in the world, why me? Who is this guy? Nah, whatever. Who ever he is, I hate him already.

Aish! This girl is really annoying. When will she even leave me alone. For goodness' sake, it's 7 am in the morning!

"Will you just shut the fuck up?!"

Is she even from this planet?

"Ppoong Ppoong! Yah, can't you just appreciate the goddess in front of you right now? You're lucky enough to be with me right now."

Goddess? Tsk! As if. Now I know why she is Jin's sister.

"Oh, are you talking about yourself right now? Well you know what, you probably need to go check your eyes up because something's obviously wrong with it. Are you even okay?"
