I didn't know what to say to that. I felt elated for some reason. Ignoring the feeling I asked Eddie to keep going with is story.

"Anyway, when Rose was in Russia. She met her father. And told your family what happened to you. While there she also met her personal alchemist Sydney, that Adrian is trying woo, by the way. But she also met two others whom helping her the most other then your own grandmother Yeva, Oksana and Mark." I knew for him to know those names Rose would have had to tell him this. "Did you know Oksana and Mark are bonded like Rose and Lissa?" I nodded answering, "yes, that's how I knew about the bond between them. I noticed the same things that I would see with Oksana and Mark."

"Good to know, but when Rose stayed with your family, who by the way treated her like your widow, well other then Yeva. Oksana and Mark help her with the bond and her magic, both her own and what she gets from the darkness. And just so you know what happened when you held her captive, needed to happen that way. Rose and Yeva both said they had seen it. That it was the only way for you to follow her back to the States, as needed for you being restored. Oksana was the one who healed her after the bridge. She also helped her get into Lissa's head to save Lissa from a spirit user who was trying to kill her to shadow kiss Lissa to her. With all of Rose's newly discovered magic. It would have killed her too if Lissa became shadow kissed. That and you possibly being restored by Lissa is the only reasons Rose helped save her.

But anyway, it was Oksana who told Rose about the spirit user she heard about who had restored someone before. She could only give Rose a name, Robert Dour. Rose's father helped her make the connection to how she knew him and where to go to find this Robert guy, Victor Dashkov." Eddie looked at me waiting for me to make the connection. I don't know who the Robert guy is but I did know who Victor was, and up until recently he was in prison for what he did to Rose and Lissa. He escaped from there only a few days before I come upon them in Las Vegas. He was also there in Vegas, with a unknown to me male moroi.

"You got him out?" I asked and stated at the same time.

Eddie shook his head, "No, Rose did. With my and Lissa's help, while there, her father, Adrian, and the two Guardian's in this room helped from here at Court.

Rose's father send Adrian to meet us in Vegas to help with the spirit user if needed. And Dimitri I have to tell you once I heard what Robert said, I thought it was all some fairytale. I was pissed at Rose when she stopped me from staking you. But once we got back and she actually explained and told me everything. I understood and couldn't be mad at her. How could I when she was fighting for what we all thought was a love so strong it could over come anything.

But now I'm pissed at you, Dimitri. I'm pissed that you didn't let her tell you any of this herself, I'm pissed that you pushed her away and told her what you did in the church, I'm pissed that after everything she has done for you and gone through and fought for, you are just going to throw it away, like she is trash or something you stepped in.

Natasha Ozera is in love with you, Dimitri and will stop at nothing to get you, like you are a prize she wants to display. And Lissa is helping her achieve her goal because she doesn't think Rose deserve happiness. And with everything Rose has been through her whole life she deserves nothing but happiness, Dimitri. And Rose with never be truly happy without you. Believe me, I know, I have seen it with my own eyes.

So to sum everything up, in case you didn't get it all, here is the short version. Lissa will do anything to keep Rose from being happy. Tasha will stop at nothing to get you to be with her. Rose went through hell after the caves, in Russia, and chased down a fucking myth. All for you!

It had to be a spirit user who needed to stake you, it could have just as easy been Adrian. And actually the original plan was for him to do it. Rose actually wanted Lissa nowhere near any of this. But Adrian needed to be spotted at Court at certain times of this mission of hers. When you took Lissa and Christian. Lissa took it on herself to try to do it then. Her and Christian was learning to stake from her knew Guardian's. Rose had been training Adrian since we got back. Rose knew you would follow her and was using that in her plans. Do you have anything to say or any questions?"

"Why would she do all this?" While asking this question I wasn't sure if I was talking about Rose or Lissa.

"Rose did this because she loves you Dimitri and from what Adrian said about your auras she will never stop, she will never move on with someone else. And now she will most likely  keep reliving every look, touch, kiss and word between the two of you for the rest of her very long life. As for Lissa and Tasha. As I said Lissa wants Rose to be unhappy the rest of her life and Tasha just wants her out of her way."

We sat in silence for a while. Him just watching me, me deep in thought. I was so deep in my own head. I didn't even realize I was crying, until they all looked at me with concern and understanding. I quickly whipped them away.

Eddie then stood to leave. But he had one more thing he wanted to say. "Dimitri I don't know if or when you will get all of your emotions back or if by pushing her away, for the last time I should add, if you have just damaged any chance you have to fully recover from this. Lissa may have healed you body back to being dhampir, but it's not her who can heal you emotionally. And one other thing because Rose wasn't and isn't a normal dhampir, she can have children to anyone moroi, human and dhampir. Since you have just condemned her to live a life without love and happiness and she will not move on from you, you have also just taken that from her as well. So I wish you all the best with Lissa and Tasha. And if you do end up finding love again and if you end up having children and are happy, just keep in mind how much you have killed all of that for my sister. Good bye Dimitri Belikov."

Once Eddie let himself out, closing the door behind him, I went into my bedroom. I could hear my two guards talking to each other, but nothing registered. My mind was racing with all Eddie told me. I still didn't know if I should believe him. But he did mention that babushka had seen that me doing what I did to her in Russia had to happen. I just didn't know or understand how she could forgive me. That night I cried myself to sleep for the first time in years, since I was a small boy afraid his own father would come back and hurt his mama again, and that I could never protect them from him.
