"When I return to school I found out who my dad is. He helped a lot with my plans and tracking down information needed and setting up alibis and such. I found out a lot of thing when I returned to school. Some I knew before I left, just not how deep it actually was."

"So Abe finally told you then. I thought he would have when you was here before and maybe that was part of why you may have left."

"No he didn't tell me before I left. I actually made a deal with him to leave Baia in exchange to protect Viktoria for something, she got mad at me and she said somethings. But that's not my place to say. I'm sure she doesn't see it that way. And I can't tell you everything I or those around me done. "

"Alright so tell me what you can, Roza."

I took a deep breath and continued, "I have only ever been intimate with one man, and it's only been once, right before the school was attached. After what happened to Dimitri I was so lost. I hid and planned until my birthday. Some of my friends told me I was in a coma for three days but I don't remember it. Before I left Christian decided to drag me to see Lissa about something. By this time all of my friends was acting strange with her at first I brushed it off, I had my own stuff to figure out. But that day Christian dragged me to see her, we found her with his aunt Tasha, who I hate, but I didn't think anything of it. Lissa was dating Christian, she's his aunt, they probably just wanted to get to know each other better. But Christian made us fallow them. Well we found out that they were plotting against the me. Tasha has been planning a life with Dimitri since he was 8 years old. When she first met him and knew from then on she wanted him. I don't know how far she went yet to achieve this. But I have people back at Court keep an eye on her to try to find out for me. Any way you know I left the Academy and made my way here. You know the rest.

Taking another deep breath. I began again. This time my voice cracked, "When Dimitri was restored. He no longer  wanted me around. He told everyone to keep me away from him. That he didn't want to see me. He believed only Lissa healed him, and only wanted her. The Guardian's had him in a jail cell at first and I wasn't aloud to see him. Lissa wouldn't help me see him either. She actually tried to compel me to stay away from him. But just like when she tried to compel me not to leave the academy, it didn't work. A Guardian friend of mine helped me get in to see him. Olena, he is not himself. I could see that. I could see it was his guilt and something else that had taken over him but he still wouldn't look at me. And when he did it was like it hurt him more. I told him I forgave him for what he did when he was  He was released, but with a Guardian detail. This past Sunday he was ordered to be at church. I went to try to get through to him again. The church service was about how forgiveness. I told him everyone is worthy of forgiveness including him and that I forgive him. He didn't want to believe that he was worthy. I told him I would never give up on him."

By now I had tears rolling down my face, no matter how much I tried to stop them I couldn't. Knowing the next words I had to repeat to his mother, I knew would brake me all over again. Yeva handed me a tissue, and started to comfort me by petting my hair. As she kept telling me it will be alright. Olena being the kind woman and mother she is took my hand and tried to comfort me as well.
But looking into her eyes I could see she knew, just not how bad. After about five minutes I was able to calm down enough when Olena asked, "Roza, please, what did he say? How bad did he make things?"

So I closed my eyes so I didn't have to see his words hurt her like they hurt me and whispered, "He said, I've given up on you. Love fades, mine has."

"Oh Roza" Olena cried out before I felt her arms around be again. I knew she was crying with me when I felt her tears on my shoulder. We cried together for a while before I got the courage to tell her the rest of what I needed to, taking a shaky breath the tears finally stopping for now, I pulled back.

"Thank you, Olena, but there is one other thing I need to tell you. When I was here last time. I didn't know and I didn't find out until I was back at school and I started getting sick. At first I thought it was just something I ate. Then after a few days I thought maybe I picked up a virus from traveling or something so I finally decided to go to the infirmary. By then I was back at the school about a week. The doctor ran some tests. At first she couldn't find out what was wrong. Then she asked me to do a different test. This test I fought her on, because I thought it was stupid, a waist of time. She wanted me to do a pregnancy test. Dimitri is the only man I have ever been with and that was the night of the attack. She kept insisting so I finally gave in and did the test. It came back positive. I'm pregnant with Dimitri's baby. I have been trying to tell him but he won't let me, he won't listen to me, he won't talk to me and after what he said I don't even know if I can see him again."

"Your pregnant? How far along are you?"

"Yes, and I just hit 18 week on Sunday. So the start of five months."

"But how is it possible your both..?"

"The Flower speaks the truth Olena. The child is Dimka's and now is not the time for that discussion." Yeva said just as my world got flipped again, as Dimitri, himself walked into the kitchen. And by the look on his face I know he heard what we were talking about. 'Ugh, fuck my life! Well at least he knows now, I guess.'

"P...pp..pregnant, Rose did you just say you are 5 months pregnant with my baby?" He stuttered, I think that's the first time I ever heard him stutter, all I could do was stair. I didn't know what to say. Or how to respond or react. 

"Dimka!" Was shouted in excitement as Olena jumped from her kitchen chair and hugged him, crying the whole time, and thankfully, at least by me, taking the focus away from me. I watched as he wrapped her in his arms tightly, he whispered "Mama." Seeing the man I love being so loving and caring with his mother, it made me love him more and hope I can have a relationship with my child like this. But then it also hurt me because it showed me he could and can show his emotions and I just really wasn't in them for him and made me want to cry again. Yeva squeezed my hand and when I looked to her she shook her head and whispered so only I could hear "his emotions are no longer blurred and buried. But make him prove his worth."

"Roza told us you was restored and how! I didn't expect to see you here, she said you was still at Court!"

" Yeah, same here." I whispered. When he look back at me, I had stood from the chair I been sitting on, Yeva still had ahold of my hand and gave a supportive squeeze.

With his focus being brought back to me, he released his mom from their hug and asked again, "Did you say you are pregnant with my baby?"

"Yes. I - "

"We're you going to tell me?"

"When? I have been trying to talk to you, but you wouldn't let me." I said angrily. Like he had some right to come in here and question me! When I had been trying to.

"I'm going to be a father? We're going to be a family!" He stated with joy. Coming twords me.

"Yes, you are going to a father Dimitri. I'm not going to keep you from you kid. But just because I'm having your baby doesn't make us a family or make you obligated to be with me. Cause I want someone to be with me, for me and not because they accidentally, unknowing it was a possibility, knocked me up. With a one night stand." I stated, squinting my eyes, stopping him in his tracks.

"Rose that's not-"

"You made it perfectly clear you don't want me around you and that you no longer love me. That's if you ever really did. As much as you have hurt me in the past and since you have been restored, I'm inclined to believe you don't, didn't and never have. Why do you think I left Court?! It's no place to raise a baby! That's why! I was only there for you. But you made it crystal clear that you gave up on me. So enjoy you visit with your family, before you go running back to Court to your Precious Princess and new lover or is it lovers now. I'll see you later Olena, Yeva." With that said I kisses each of them on the cheek and was out the door.
