Once you was not found in the caves, Rose lost it. She ran over the ward line calling out, screaming and I thought she would have called out for you. But when she called out Mason I was really lost. Then it was almost like she was having a conversation with thin air before falling to her knees crying. She passed out after that Dimitri. And I know she doesn't remember being in a coma for three days. I have asked if she remembers it and she doesn't. She was in the infirmary hooked up to and iv and other machines completely unresponsive. None of us know what happened to her and she didn't notice much when she came out of it. But she was different Dimitri. She had a determination in her eyes, but was, I want to say, broken. It was like the determination was all that was keeping her alive anymore.

When she was out of it we all took turns staying by her. Janine, Alberta, Adrian, Christian, some of the other Guardian's and myself. Not once did Lissa sit with her once we got her to the clinic and the doctor had her hooked to the machines. At the time I was surprised. But once I thought about how Lissa had been to Rose since coming back to the school and how she was when we wanted her help finding Rose. I wasn't surprised about anything with what she did anyone. During those three days that she was in a coma. Alberta and the other Guardian's told everyone that she was injured in the rescue and she had to be put into a medically induced coma.

None of us know how but before word of what happened to you in the caves and your body not being found had gotten out, Tasha had showed up demanding you funeral arrangements be started. Alberta wanted to wait until she found out how Rose was and if she would come out of the coma. She wanted Rose to have say in the funeral arrangements. When Rose awoke, Alberta had already had everything set as she couldn't put it off that long, especially when Tasha was demanding it the whole time. And I am going to tell you I wanted to punch her so bad, my sister was laying there in a coma. Lissa was back to ignoring her and all I heard from Tasha was, my Dimka this, my Dimka that.

She acted like she was your girlfriend or wife or something. It confused me until Rose told me about the offer Tasha made you at Christmas. But one thing did stand out during that time. Lissa and Tasha acted like the best of friends. Where one went the other was right there. Adrian and myself overheard them talking one night. Do you want to know what they was talking about?"

I think he only asked to make sure I was still listening. I knew he would tell me anyway. It didn't matter if I wanted to hear any of this or not. He was going to tell me and make sure I heard this all. So I responded, "What was they talking about?" I asked.

I knew from being around Lissa since she restored me that Tasha was always not far behind, but I thought it was to bond with the only family Christian had. But now I find out that she and Christian are not together right now it confused me all the more.

"They was talking about how Lissa was going to hand you over to Tasha once she graduated and how sorry Lissa was for Tasha for that to not be happening anymore." Eddie looked me in the eyes while saying this. It actually shocked me. When had they agreed to this, they sounded like I was Lissa's property and she was selling me to Tasha. It actually made me feel cheap.

"Once Lissa staked you and restored you. I over heard Lissa and Tasha again talking, but this time it was how she can finally give you to Tasha. And she promised to keep Rose away from you. With you asking for that yourself it wasn't hard for her to do. But the way she went about it with Rose may come as a surprise." I raised an eyebrow at him for continue. I was not expecting them all to have some input on this.

"Lissa has yelled at her."

"She also tried to compel her again."

"She has smacked her and told her she is not worth anyone's love."

"She told her all she is good for is an easy fuck and to die."

"I actually have Adrian keeping an eye on Rose, right now. Because of what you said in the church. I'm sure she is more suicidal then when you was first taken. And when we are finished here. If you haven't seen the truth. We will be calling someone else for help."

"The princess has no reason to do  any of that. And I'm sure Adrian is just fine with me out of the picture. He has wanted it all along. And seeing as they are dating now he got what he wanted." I said

Now all three was looking at me and each other confused. Until Eddie said something I was not expecting.

"Who told you they was dating? Actually that's really sick that someone would make that up seeing as Rose and Adrian are blood family."

"The Princess told me. And what do you mean they are family?"

"Wow she really has done a number on you. Rose and Adrian are cousins on his mothers side. His mother's sister was married to her father's brother before they were killed.  He has been there for her more then all of us. When she came back the rest of us still had school to finish. He is also always trying to get her out of her depressed stage. It wasn't until her dad showed up at the academy that we all found out but Adrian said he knew who she was as soon as he seen her at the ski lodge. He said he could never forget his little dhampir, even if he hasn't seen her since she was four. They grew up together, until that time when Janine made her father agree to it so she can learn to protect herself. Everyone thought she would become a guardian, even her as she couldn't remember any of it. They had her go by Hathaway to protect her."

Wow, that was a bomb drop. I thought. My eyes felt like they was going to pop out of my head.

"Of course none of us knew this until she came back from Russia. But ya. They are family. And are not dating!"
