Chapter 33

Hey guys I'm really sorry for the late update, but I've got exams and I have also started a new job, and I have had a lot of family stuff going on, and I also got a new laptop for christmas and I'm not really good with technology so I'm having some problems with it. So I'm sorry to say but my updates won't be coming more frequent any time soon. But I hope this chapter has some things that you were waiting for.

Chapter 33

"What do you mean I'm yours?!" I shout at Alex as I push my way past Jett to stand toe to toe with him, glaring up at him. "I'm not some object that you can own! And who I want to blood bond with is MY decision, got it?! And whether or not I decide to blood bond is my decision! So don't think any of you will be making that decision for me!" I turn back and look at everyone in the room, looking each one of them in the eyes so they know I'm talking about all of them.

"Now why do you think I should blood bond with Jett?" My tone has very little patience to it, and I cross my arms over my chest.

"Well," Jett rubs the back of his neck and everyone looks at the ground, "it's just it seemed... like, erm, you two... were..." Mrs Burke trails off as if looking for the words to say.

"BECAUSE YOU'RE JETT'S MATE!" Tori shouts at the top of her lungs as if it's just bursted out of her lungs.

Everyone in the room goes silent and stares at Torie, as she stands there with her hand slapped over her mouth and her eyes staring wide as if she has instantly regretted what she has said. I am not processing her words, I just stand there staring at her. My mind is completely blank. I ma not entirely sure if I even heard what she said.

"What?" My mouth has gone as my eyes don't even blink while I stare at her.

"You-" She starts her sentence but she is cut off by Jett.

"Shut up Tori!" Jett growls, his eyes glowing red as he stares at his sister.

"She deserves to find out." Tori bites out.

"Hold up! What do I need to know?" I look between Jett and Tori, waiting for one of them to tell me what is going on.

"I think you should tell her." Mrs Burke says quietly.

"I can't." Jett shakes his head vigorously and storms out of the door. Slamming it loudly behind him. I take a step to follow him, but then his words make me stop and think.

What is his problem, why has he always treated me so bad, and I have treated him just as he as treated me, it's only since yesterday that he has started to be nice to me. Which I think it is a bit rediculous because I don't want people to treat me any differently than what they did. And what the hell is a mate?

Is that some weird vampire possessive thing?

"I'm sorry about that." Mrs Burke loos really guilty as she places a hand on my back and guides me back to the couch, all the while I it and stare at the door that Jett has just left out of.

"It's ok." I murmer.

"I-" Alex starts to stay but I interrupt him, not helping feeling angry towards him about how much hassel he has been causing me recently.

"I think you should go Alex." I loom anywhere but at him.

"But I need to speak to you." He whines.

"Please Alex, just go, we can talk tomorrow." I say, shaking my head.

I can't believe that I have found out that Im going to die, and he wants me to accomodate every need of his, but god forbid he extends that courtsey towards me.
