Chapter 5

Journal Entry #15

Another week has passed since that event with the Jewel Seed being activated by a human being. During that eventful day Nanoha's father, Shiro Takamachi, has invited me, Nanoha, Arisa and Suzuka to watch and cheer on the soccer teams that are having a friendly match against each other. Mr. Takamachi's team apparently are well trained and score an impressive victory of 2 – 0. After the match, me and my friends went to the Mr. Takamachi's café, Midori-ya. We had a nice meal together and that was until I discovered a faith energy signature that is similar to a Jewel Seed.

As it turns out I was right, the male goalkeeper has it in his hands but I was too slow to even stop the event from happening but thankfully Nanoha managed to seal it and that no one is seriously injured other than me who got sent spiraling out of control and falling from thousands of meters above the sky. The shockwave from the Jewel Seed's activation apparently knocked my flight systems offline and as such I could not have recovered from that crash if it wasn't for Yuuno who saved me by creating a magic field that cushions my fall.

It was then that I have made a declaration and vow to protect Nanoha at all cost. But most importantly, I want to see her smile more brightly. Brighter than the sun could shine its ray of sunshine. Because she reminds me... of someone who I failed to protect... someone who I could hardly remember... but that won't stop me from trying to recover it.

Over the course of the week, there hasn't been any Jewel Seeds found and both me and Nanoha can use the time to focus on our daily life. For Nanoha's part, she has been taught a few lessons from Yuuno about the use of barrier magic. As for me, I've been 'training' in the use of my new attires while doing some part time delivery work and occasional fly-bys. I've also been helping the three girls with their studies too and I happen to be pretty good at most of them except for language studies and physical fitness. And from the looks of it all three girls value me more deeply as a friend they could trust with hearing out what they wanted to speak their minds out.

On to the subject of attires, to avoid public uneasiness especial since some of my attires sport a gun that was part of the attire, I decided to use the one that has manipulator arms that are obviously use to hold the force module. I even unlocked a new attire after flying the attire for some time. This new attire appears to be an upgrade to the previously flown attire and it also sports a gun as well but I'll keep that as my trump card should a serious fight occurs. Said attire is not the only one I unlocked as I've flown the other attires for some time as well and unlocked their respective upgrades.

As usual, Hayate would ask if I had any new attires unlocked and that after showcasing it to her, she immediately got the ideas going in her head and now I got them all in the next few days but apparently one of the new attires already sport a costume of its own, much to Hayate's dismay.

For all the help I've done with the various deliveries, it seems the Bunnings, Tsukimura and Takamachi family had taken a liking to me. Even Nanoha, Arisa and Suzuka are happy for me as well. I also realized that those three girls are acting very... shy around me for some reason especially Nanoha. I wonder what sort of effect I got to them.

Anyways, today Suzuka invited Arisa and Nanoha to a tea party at her house. Of course I'm invited as well and Suzuka really thought out pretty well considering my gender change today. As for my time with Hayate yesterday, after much trial and error I was finally able to make my own omelet rice with Hayate's help of course. She is visibly proud that I was able to do it. Alright, I've only just got out of bed and I should be getting ready for the tea party.

Novena closes the journal as she looks at the white colored pajamas that she wears. Nanoha, Arisa and Suzuka decided that to take Novena shopping for additional clothes to wear and the pajamas was one of them. The clothes that Novena has been wearing since the day she woke up had been placed into the washing machine just before going to sleep in the room provided by Suzuka.
