Chapter 11

----- That Night, Nanoha's Room -----

Yuuno: And so... Nanoha, Novena and I would like to assist your operations.

Yuuno was speaking with the members of the TSAB via Raising Heart on the end of the line. On the other side of the line, Lindy, Chrono and a young Communication Operator going by the name, Amy Limietta, are all listening to what Yuuno was saying.

Chrono: Assist, huh?

Yuuno: Leaving me aside, I believe that Nanoha's magical powers and Novena's various non-magic attire firepower can be a useful combat force from your end. Collecting the Jewel Seeds, fighting those girls... In either case, I'm sure we can be very useful to you.

Lindy: You've thought it out quite well. In that case, I guess it will be all right.

That completely caught the enforcer by surprise as he immediately tries to object.

Chrono: Moth... Captain?!

Lindy: Let's have them help us. We would like to save our own trump card as well. Right, Enforcer Chrono?

Chrono: Yes, ma'am...

Lindy: I have two conditions. All three of you need to be under the custody of the Time-Space Administration Bureau during the period. That, and you must obey every order given to you. Got it?

Yuuno: Understood. However, Novena might pose some problems for you though.

Lindy: Why is that?

Yuuno: Ever since I've first came to work side by side with Nanoha and Novena, I've realized that Novena's been very loyal to only Nanoha and to a lesser extent, me. I get the feeling he won't be following any of your orders since... I get the feeling he has trust issues.

Lindy: Trust issues? That doesn't sound very good.

Yuuno: It is. However since Nanoha is willing to obey your orders, Novena will simply follow suit without question. Basically, so long as Nanoha is the one that's tells him so, you won't be able to direct him as you intended.

Lindy: I see... I'll put that info about his distrust into consideration whenever conducting orders.

Later downstairs, Nanoha and her mother are busy with the dishes with Novena helping to place the cleaned dishes back into the shelf. Her brother, father and Miyuki had gone out to train. Yuuno was upstairs. After cleaning the dishes Nanoha had begun telling her mother what was going on. Out of her entire family, she felt that her mother was the only one she could reliably tell of her recent activities.

During her explanation, she'd left out the more fantastical parts, and it was very difficult side stepping them. However, she felt that she did well enough in explaining the rough idea of the situation at hand. She still couldn't help but feel nervous though, as her mother had been silent the entire way through. Nanoha also told her mother that she'd need to be away for a short while. It was agreed that if they were to work with Lindy, that she'd have to stay with the crew of the Arthra.

She'd already made up her mind. She'd use all the help she could get in order to save Fate and solve the incident. She had already resolved herself to accept the offer. She still needed to hear what he mother had to say however.

Nanoha: It might be dangerous, but it's something I started with a dear friend, and I want to do it until the very end. I might make you all worry.

Momoko: But of course, I'm always worried about you! I'm your mother, Nanoha, so I worry about you a lot.

Nanoha became downcast at hearing as such.

Momoko: But... If you were still trying to decide on which path to take, I would say that you shouldn't do anything dangerous. But you've already made up your mind, right? To properly finish what you started with your friend. To talk things out once more with that girl you met.
