LONELY

Years and days alone I have spent,
Yearning for a glance of affection.
I have turned my face away from the warm night sky,
Stars no longer shine bright to me.

My fate is cursed,
All it takes is a beautiful fake smile to hide my injured soul.
I will never reveal,
But always conceal.

My heart gets the strength to survive in distress,
It belongs to me.
From now on I choose its path,
I create my own compass.

I have begun to wound those who wound me,
My wrath is a storm.
The world will not see when I ascend.
I will be the shadow in it.

I will walk alone,
Alone I will walk.
Who am I?
A lasting moment.

ANALYSIS OF THE POEM

SUMMARY : TO MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND.

The way she has felt  for the past few years and days alone. Screaming for that love that even a mother could not give her. The love a father could not give her and even a stranger that helps her grow could not give her (the one who took care of her basically because she was a orphan). She has turned into a bitter person that only understands the nature of silence and dull response, therefore she chooses to ignore the, (love that other parents give their children when she passes by or sees them together having dinner or something) she has taught herself that love only exists to those who have been gifted by it. She tries to stay away from it and it's advances. That's why she has no friends at all. She chooses to neglect the feeling and tells herself that even if it tries to peep through the door she has with all her might tried to close she will not be affected by it. She thinks that she does not deserve such a pure undescribable feeling because she has not been able to nurture herself to take care of it.

She thinks and knows that her fate is cursed and thinks that Cinderella has brought upon a lasting hate upon fairytales. She has no belief in fairytales whatsoever. So when things like that comes to her side she just brushes it off by smiling and waving at the feeling or even the people who have made her feel like that. She does not like it when people ask her about her life so she stays as far as possible away from them. She rather thinks it's better for her to not have friends than to lie about who she is and where she lives. She feels lost, abandoned, hated, disgusted, weak and innocent. She believes that because of the circumstances she is in she does not have the right to dream but only try to make something out of nothing.

She is tired of the place she lives in and wants a better life even though it consists not of love but strength. She promises herself that such situations will not break her but make her a stronger person among the rest. She will determine where she goes and how she gets there. She had started to pay back all the insults she has bared up until now not in a violent way but in a way that they will shut their mouths forever she had decided to make it big and make something more of who she is. Her anger makes her more determined and ready to clear her target it strengthens her and makes her focus on her goal. After all her hard work she knows she will be successful and trusts herself more than she first did. She will emerge a winner no matter what happens after this moment on. She will do this alone not wanting any distractions on her part. But in the process she thinks she might have lost herself and she battles to gain insight because her heart does not approve of her own decisions and figures a way to tone her anger before it destroyed her. The heart then asks her who she is and takes a while to retrieve her thoughts and finally make up her mind. She then answers and says that she is like a lasting storm a lasting moment. A flash of eternal determination. It's clear to her that her answer shocked her because then she realises that the heart had managed to convince her otherwise and this makes her heart and mind not one in a lovely battle. She begins on the journey her heart desires because clearly the heart had always won.
