When love cometh it cometh only by the soul.
The heart only accompanies the soul to win the plight of love.
Then now see you this as my love. Here we stand in our secret place,
You take my hand and it feels like home.
This memory will last forever,
Like there is no tomorrow.I didn't find any one like you,
I got support in your arms.
I searched the world and I got you.
Your scent is a mischievous little thing because it lingers over me.Take me to the place you call home,
For this ignorant world wishes to be my enemy.ANALYSIS OF THE POEM
SUMMARY :TO MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND.
Slowly but surely she would come back to her senses. Just like any other person who is lost would come back. He has made sure that she has the access to his heart no matter where she is. He has the will to let her complete her side of love. He introduces her to his world of love and only through the soul. He has won the fight of love and is only waiting for her to finally recognize his presence fully(like a mother recognizes her child after birth is the same way he is waiting to be recognized by his lover). He wants all of her and not fragments of her love. He wants complete images of her beautiful stunning smile and not half hearted ones she used to give him. He wants to be there for her completely and not just a time with her in the afternoons. (This indicates that he might want to marry her legally and not have a leave in relationship with her, but we don't know that yet - this part will continue later in the story line of the poems).
The second stanza - shows a powerful sense of belonging that the girl wants from the friend. It seals the fact that she has Indeed healed from the trauma and has even made new memories to keep for the future. She asks comfort and love without realizing that she is, thus making him believe that she has indeed healed and that it is time for him to make amends. She feels comforted therefore she gives in to her hearts desire.
The third stanza-the boy speaks.
He has waited so long for this moment that he has started saying things to her with the aim that he is professing how important she is to him. He states little fragments of how he first saw her(he is telling her how he first saw, looked and found her. Contrast to how long they have been together without noticing their feelings for each other. He is letting her know that he befriended her with the idea to pursue but never did. He wanted her to believe in love so that at the end everything would work out. He wanted her to trust herself and the choice she would make when the time was right.). Even though she never realized his love for her he would comfort him lovelingly and that used to drive him crazy. And that moments like these gave him the strength to endure throughout this journey with wars lost and won. The scent that he keeps referring to throughout the story was of the hug she used to give him whenever they met and separated. When she finally realizes that she really truly and purely loves this guy she asks him to take her to the place he calls home and not this pitiful place she used to confide in. That place is her enemy because of the memories that reside in it, she wants to leave this place to never return to the vile and disturbing flashes of the fragmented memories she wishes to forget(She will return once she is strong enough, meaning that once she knows that he loves her as well and that she has made a place for herself in his heart. She will be strong enough to face memories of the past. Because she won't be alone to do so).
