My name is Yuvia. I was named after the rain, because it symbolizes the harder part of a new beginning. I guess my parents thought that it would be super symbolic to me, but they didn't even spell it right. Lluvia is the Spanish word for rain. I guess I like my name just because it's different. On my Earth everyone was either named Jane or Susan or Kelly or some other English name. But being different didn't always help me out. I was constantly teased about having a Spanish name because no one spoke Spanish, ever. My world only had one language; English. We did know about all the other languages that existed before, but when Truine was put in charge that all changed. He wanted to make sure that everyone was the same, that there was no free thought and that everyone followed the rules. Of course that created problems. People started to rebel, and Truine didn't tolerate it. He killed them. My parents even had to fight with Truine to get me named Yuvia. And if they weren't so high up in the government, they would have been executed. Simple as that.
