Chapter Four

I knew this day was going to be so boring and lonely because Bella wasn't going to be here. She's all I have really, besides Todd. I walk into the doors of the high school and I put my earphones in. I press play to my favorite song Teenage Dirtbag and walk through the hallways. I didn't see Todd so I decided to just go to class already and chill.As I was about to walk into English, a tall blonde boy was talking to the teacher about where he sits. I slowly walk in and sit in my seat where I usually sit. The memories of what happened yesterday flowed back into my mind with that kid Luke. Why is he so rude and mean to me when we just met and hardly have one conversation. I hear the bell ring as I see him walking over to the desk next to me. I'm going to be honest I was checking him out, but I have a boyfriend so he doesn't matter. He sits down and glances over at me, I quickly turn my head and look forward hoping he didn't see me check him out.

"You know, didn't daddy tell you it's not polite to stare?" I see his little smirk in the corner of my eye and I decided to ignore him. Why does he have to mention my dad all the time and remind me it hurts. The bell rings and English went by really fast, hopefully the day will too. I walk out of the door and I feel someone running up behind me trying to get my attention but I had my earphones in so it wasn't someone important. I felt my earphones rip right out of my ears and I quickly turn around to see who it was.

"What the hell!" I scream.

"Woah, babe calm down its just me." Todd says, grabbing my hand.

"Sorry I thought you were someone else." I slowly start to look at him up and down.

"It's alright"

"Why are you dressed up?"

"Well that's what I was going to tell you haha, well I'm leaving to go to a thing with my mom. I don't know what it is but I can't drive you home today."

"Oh it's fine I'll just walk or take the bus home" I nodded.

"Are you sure it looks like it's about to rain?" He said concerned.

"I'll be fine don't worry, have fun with your mom, whatever you're doing." I go on my tippy toes and give him a quick peck on the cheek as he slowly starts to back away. Even though I drove here I can just drive home with my car. I put my earphones on and see a text message from Calum.

I'm taking your car because I have to drive to Micheals house alright?

Alright,drive safe love you.

I sigh and play my music some more. It looks like today will be the lonely day.

The bell finally rings and the day is finally over. I get up from my desk and put my hoodie on. I look out the window and see that it's pouring rain out, my luck I don't have my car. I walk outside and start heading down the sidewalk. I missed my bus because I stayed after late. I was already soaked and I still have a long way to go. I see a truck pull up on the sidewalk and the last person I wanted to see was in it.

"Get in!" Luke shouts.

"What?!?" I couldn't hear him over the rain hitting the car.

"I said get in!" He shouts again. I think about it for a minute and decide to get in. I walk over to his red old truck and slam the door. As he pulls away.

"Why'd you do that? And where are we going?" I asked.

"Why do you ask so much questions?" I turn my head in confusion on how I didn't know he had an Australian accent.

"Sorry I'm kind of stuck in a truck with you so can you bring me home?"

"I am bringing you home and you should be honored I let you in. At least I can get a thank you." he laughs.

"Well thanks." I said putting my head down and playing w my fingers.

"How do you know where I live?" As he pulls up to my house.

"I know things, I'm not dumb." He says parking the car.

"Oh, well thanks again." I say before shutting the door.

"You're welcome." as he smiles. That was the first time I ever seen him smile. He has a pretty smile and pretty teeth. I'm surprised he's the smiling type. I run to my door and grab the key onto of the door an unlocked the door. I stumbled inside and shut the door. I'm replaying on what just happened in my head. Why was he nice to me all the sudden? This boy is very bipolar. I walk up the stairs to an empty house and I change out of my wet soggy clothes and put dry ones on. I jump on my bed and started look at my text messages. I looked at one that Bella just sent me.

Hey! Do you want to go to this crazy party tomorrow after the football game?

Sure it sounds like fun!

Great! Well can your boyfriend take us because we're going to get so wasted Sammi lol

Haha okay I'll ask him tonight about it and I'll call you if he says anything

Oh classic Bella, always wanting to get wasted at big parties with me. She's the girl you want to go with because she doesn't have drama in her life. I'm practically her drama in her life. She works everything out with me and that's why we're best-friends. I'm excited for this party because I can finally let myself go and relax and have fun with the people who make me happy everyday. I get up and grab my backpack and start my homework. Hours have gone by and I just finished studying and doing homework. I had pizza for dinner because my mom texted me saying she's sleeping over Freds house. So me and Calum ordered pizza. I'm exhausted and all I want is to go to sleep but I have to text Todd asking if he's going but I'll ask him tomorrow morning. My eyes slowly start to close and I drift into my sweet sleep.

Hay guys well I updated 3 chapters like woah go me! Well my friend Juliana is making me stay up this late to write but Shh it's okay.
