*Sammis POV*

I just finished in Victoria Secret getting new underwear, while I past by an art store. A lightbulb once again came above my head reminding me about the art project with Luke.

It never even crossed my mind that we only had until Monday to do it, which leaves us tomorrow to finish it.

I walked into the Art store and saw a familiar girl working at the cash register. I slowly walked up to her confused at the way she looked like, defiantly wasn't the same when the last time I saw her.

"Mandy?" I asked shocked.

"Sammi" she said breathless. She ran over to me and hugged me really tight, which was very surprising to me. It's like all of the memories flowed back in my head.

~FLASHBACK~

I was still in the hospital depressed of what had just happened to my life. Everything changed in an instant and I could never take anything back. There's a burn in my heart that will eventually leave a scar, and it'll never go away. No escaping the fact that my father had died, because of me, all of me. I take all the blame and everything that I deserve.

A knock got me out of my thoughts as I saw Mandy and Bella walk in with flowers.

"Hey Sam, how are you feeling?" Mandy asked, sitting on the edge of the hospital bed. Bella did the same thing on the opposite side.

"That it should've been me in that casket" I said twiddling my thumbs.

"Why did you ever go to that party? You knew that there was really strong drinking involved and Bella you knew too! You guys should've never went" Mandy snaps shaking her head. I can't believe she's taking this all out on me right now. During this time when I already have a big enough hole in my heart.

"Mandy not now" Bella says grabbing her hand.

"No!" Mandy shouts standing up. "I care to much for Sammi to be in this state right now. I can't see you like this Sammi. I only came here to tell you we need to stop talking to each other until your all better" She confessed. I sat up a little with tears welling up in my eyes.

"Wha-what do you mean Mandy? You can't just leave me here all alone" I said shaking in my voice.

"Sammi, my parents aren't letting me. You know how Catholic my parents are. They hate alcoholics and people who create sins. I dont agree with them one bit but once I'm 18 I'm leaving that shit hole and becoming my own person" she says. Her birthday is in 3 months, she has to be kidding me.

"You don't have to listen to them Mandy. You're my best friend you can't leave me. I need you and Bella please don't leave." I said tears falling down my face.

"Sammi I'm so sorry. I will always be your best friend, please don't ever forget that. I'll see you soon" she said kissing my forehead lightly. And just like that she left.

~Flashback Ended~

Mandy was always the church girl, who's grades were perfect and she was perfect too, but she smokes and drinks behind her parents back. She was one of my best friends besides Bella. She grew up with me. We were the three musketeers, Bella, Mandy and I. No one bothered to bully us or talk to us because we were in our own bubble. It was when that bubble popped that day she walked out that door.

I broke away from our embrace and saw her hair was now red. Her bright blue eyes still stayed the same and her skin clearer than ever.

"Omg Mandy your hair.. It- it's red!" I shouted.
