Joshua 2:12-13
Please promise me in the Lord's name that you will be as kind to my family as I have been to you. Do something to show that you won't let your people kill my father and mother and my brothers and sister and their families
After reading the book of Joshua at chapter 2. I realized that you will become blessing to your family because the spirit of God is in with you.If you read the book of Joshua in chapter 2.
The story goes like this Joshua sent his two spies to the Lord promise land at Jericho to gather information about these country. This two spies spend their night at house of prostitute named Rahab but someone found out about them and told the king of Jericho, "Some Israelite men came here tonight and they are spies" then the king sent soldier at Rahab house to arrest the spies.
Rahab which is the prostitute girl did not condemn them but she help the spies to hide and escape. The two men of God at Jericho and to the soldier who looking for them after helping she requested at Joshua 2:12-13.
Did you see my point?
If someone in your family has the spirit of God which have a real relationship on him even others of your member is dont have. Blessing is still counted and given, kung ikaw lang ngayon ang may relationship sa kanya sa family niyo be blessed because it means ikaw ang magiging ilaw at pintuan para sa mga blessing sa family niyo because our God never forsake his child in misery.
Like of what happened to Rahab because of helping the spies and stayed them for a few days on his house which have the spirit of God. Blessing come in there life through the protection guaranteed by God of upcoming destruction at wall of Jericho.
The life of Rahab family already secured by the word of this believer through our Lord Jesus Christ our Lord's name
