Today was such a big day, it was the Couples Party before Arielle and Jack were to get married considering they were having three parties before the wedding which were the couples party (instead of a bridal shower), the Bachelor and Bachelorette party, and the Engagement Party which obviously happened way before the couples party and the bachelor/bachelorette party.
At the party, Jack and Arielle had both written little speeches, Arielle thanking Jack for being her best friend and Jack thanking Arielle for being the girl who gave him confidence. Considering you and Jack had been away from each other for the whole day so you wouldn't give any hints to what you guys were writing to each other for the speeches, it was also so that the Maid of Honours and Best Man (Brendan) didn't see what they were writing as they were also required to say speeches considering that is tradition at weddings and all that jazz!
--Arielle's POV--
"So, Ari, you excited for tonight's party?" Roisin asked Roisi is Jack's sister and one of the girls in my bridal party - she's a bridesmaid and one of my 3 maids of honours
"Yeah, I am, I am buzzing! I can't wait, I'm also intrigued to hear what the boys are going to say as well," I said with a huge smile as she nudged me as we giggled together, Roisi was honestly like my 4th sister and it was the funniest thing as I and Roisi were like the same people, not even joking
"Awe! I'm the same! I honestly cannot wait to hear what their speeches are, especially Jacky's considering he's going to go all soppy on us about you haha," Roisi said as I laughed again
"Omg! Roisi, now I'm kinda, turned off about this whole situation *bursts out into fits of giggles*," I said as both Roisi and I just then lost it as our heads both fly back as we laugh which gives us a sharp pain in our stomach
As Roisi and I were laughing, Charlotte, their mum (Jack and Roisi) walks in and tells us that we need to get ready for the party as the guests are almost here.
"It's great to hear you two girls laughing, but, you really need to get ready as everyone else in the bridal party has and they are all just waiting on you two, c'mon girls, it shouldn't have taken you this long *smiles and winks as she leaves*," Charlotte said as she then winks and leaves us to get dressed as we looked at each other in shock, realising that we had spent this whole time just mucking around when we should have been getting ready
"Oh, shit, Roisi," I said as we laughed again but got up from our seats considering our makeup was finished so we got dressed in our maroon dresses and, let's just say that the guests were quite shocked haha.
