It was Mahalia's birthday today, for those wondering, Mahalia is my older sister and, it's been a couple of days since she surprised me and, it's a day before her graduation at Oxford and, I decided that because it is her special day today and that she is turning 20, so, because it is the big 20, I decided to something very special for Mahalia and, she will not even expect it.
The backstory of my surprise for Mahalia is a crazy one. There is a friend of Mahalia's who she hasn't seen since, like with me before surprising me, she started at Oxford and, that friend and I have been planning something the last 4 months leading up until today. Unfortunately, due to the three years that Mahalia was in uni for, Madelaine and Mahalia personally lost touch, it wasn't like they hated each other or anything, as both girls would always text me to ask me how the other one was and, I'd always respond back with the information I knew and, Madelaine and Mahalia would see each other's social media posts and stuff so, they would talk that way in the means of the comment sections of their posts on social media but, other than that, Madelaine and Mahalia haven't actually had a full on conversation or meet up since they farewelled each other that day three years ago! But, today, that is going to change, and I and Madelaine are going to surprise Mahalia for her 20th birthday!
Not going to lie, I was a little terrified as, I didn't know, well, no one knew how Mahalia is going to react to this surprise as, well, she hasn't really been talking about wanting to see Madelaine on her birthday so, I'm worried that Madelaine and Mahalia aren't friends anymore but, I'm still going to do this surprise, let's see how it goes!
