chapter 9

When it was finally lunch time, we walked out of the pool. I shivered when the cold air hit my wet skin. Shawn immediately wrapped his towel firmly around me as i thanked him smiling.

It's unbelievable how simple action can give you butterflies in your stomach and melt your heart into complete mush.

Everyone was arguing for the food choice. So i suggested pizza. All of them agreed and we ordered several pizza depending on each one's taste.

"Hey where is olivia?" I asked confused scanning the yard around me.

"Oh she said she wasn't feeling well so Brian took her to his room upstairs" Geoff smirked.

"Oh my god! Is she okay? Why didn't she tell me?" I asked in concern as the threevmen laughed hysterically.

"You're so naive" connor snorted as i stared at him blankly.

"or maybe she's too innocent to understand" at his comments, i gasped taking the hint.

"Oh" typical olivia, it only takes her a few hours to get any guy into bed.

"You know connor, when i first saw you i thought you're an innocent cute kid but now i see you in a total different way" i said smirking as he slightly blushed.

"Wait a second... i get annoying, asshole, douchbag and he gets cute" shawn snapped in a jealous tone.

"Oh come on! Look at him. He's a total bae. I bet your fans go crazy over him" i shrugged my shoulders driving him more insane.

"You can't imagine when we first hired him. Everyone lost their mind. They almost forgot shawn" geoff nudged my shoulder laughing.

"No they didn't, my fans are pretty loyal" shawn frowned slapping his back.

"Not for long..." i mumbled "i think you already lost one" i gasped shifting closer to connor as i wrapped my arms around his neck placing a quick kiss on his cheek. While shawn glared at us.

He was about to speak but got interrupted by a frightened scream. It was olivia. We rushed inside going upstairs to their room.

"Did something bad happen?" Shawn stormed slamming the door open.

"Olivia? Brian? Are you okay?" I panted.

We found brian sitting on the bed covering his ears in panic as he stared at olivia jumping up and down in excitement.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Geoff asked in frustration.

"IS THIS THE SHAWN MENDES SIGNATURE GUITAR?" She shouted pointing at the classy guitar laying delicately on the couch above a few cushions.

My jaw fell open as shawn covered his mouth sniffling a laugh while the other slapped their forehead with the back of their hands.

"Oh my god! Olivia i swear I'll choke you with my bare hands" i panted placing my hand over my chest to calm my heart beat.

She turned around confused "how did you hear me?" She asked in embarrassment.

"Oh we didn't but my parents called saying they heard screming and wanted to check on us" i replied sarcastically.

"Oops sorry" she bit her lips nervously "... but i still didn't get an answer" she mumbled as my eye widened in anger.

"Yes it is... would you like to hold it?" Shawn said as she nodded her head her eyes lightened with desire.

"Don't you dare, once i let her carry my guitar and she tripped down the stairs smashing into million pieces" i warned him.

Shawn tensed up sending olivia an akward smile to let her know he backed away from his decision. He hurried to his precious guitar caressing it gently.

How sweet!

"It was an accident, i thought you forgave me" she whined crossing her arms.

"It cost me more than fifteen thousands dollars, I'll never let it go" i snapped glaring at her.

"Hold on a second, you play guitar?"

"I played guitar but after Olivia's clumsiness my parents found out and grounded me for a month" i whispered recovering the awful situation.

"Seriously? That's sad" Shawn exlaimed as i nodded.

"Grounding for playing guitar! That's a new one, i guess you had rough childhood" connor smiled weakly.

"Tell me about it. Five years ago, She was the only one in our class who didn't go to summer camp because she was forced to practice for college exams. And She almost never sat with us at lunch because she spent her time at the library to make extra researches" oli replied earning a glare from my part.

"Wow you're a complete nerd" brian commented standing up from the bed to put his shirt on.

"It's not that i enjoyed it, but my parents wanted me to enter Harvard and pursue a successful life" i explained in sarcastic tone not that it can justify the pain and struggles that came with it.

"Wow you're attending harvard!" Connor exclaimed.

"Um No... after a terrible fight that lasted two whole weeks, my uncle intercepted stopping my parents and ensured my premiums for my new college so i can accompany olivia" i replied.

Shawn wrapped his arms around me kissing my temple "It was a tough time, but thankfully i had olivia and Xander" i sent her a small smile.

"Who's Xander?"

"He was my boyfriend" i muttered quietly.

"Oh boohoo! He is our bestfriend, don't believe what she says" olivia rolled her eyes.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"I mean come one, he only asked you to be his girlfriend out of pity, you never acted like real couples. For four years, you only went on six dates alone without me... damn it you didn't even sleep with him nor anyone else..."

She gasped her hands flying to her mouth in regret. I covered my face as my cheeks heated red. Why does she have to embarrass me all the fucking time?

"Aww baby... I'm sorry but there's nothing wrong with being a virgin you know... I mean it's normal" olivia suttered her hands in front of her face in case i wanted to punch which was a desire i was fighting the urge not to do it.

"Nothing's wrong but it isn't ideal to tell this to guys i met a few hours ago and to the guy I'm dating!" I scolwed.

"We're dating?" Shawn smirked.

"Whatever..." is shifted from foot to another uncomfortable.

"Oh my god shawn you got a sensitive one over here, take care of her" brian laughed.

"I wouldn't say that if i were you" olivia shook her head "one time a guy called her a weak nerdy slut and she kicked him right in the scrotch" olivia smirked.

"You know brian, i despised my parents for forcing to take useless classes like ballet, class swimming, tango but there's a particular one which i realised was my favorite... Kong foo" i raised my eyebrows sassily posing like a pro as a challenge for him to speak.

Brian froze in place in panic "Hey... el would you like a drink? I'll get you the fanciest whine in spain just please don't hurt me. Olivia and i didn't get to any business yet" he begged me as we laughed.

"Score! I found a girl who loves mocking my friends and is excellent at it... ugh I love you" And there he said it again, i stayed quiet rolling my eyes as we walked out back to the pool.
