Ellie's P.O.V
The ride back to my place was genuinely silent other than zach giggling and doing what babies usually do. I'm glad shawn came back, but I'm not sure if he wants to give a shot on us or he feel bad for repulsing me earlier or he's just curious to know the story.

"You can park over here, the neighbors are gone on a trip" i suggested pointing to the empty space.

"Wait a second..." he said as he turned off the engine.

Oh my god, is he having second doubts? He doesn't want to us talk anymore... he hates me!

"Is olivia at home?" He asked in fear.

"No i sent her to her friend's house... why?" I asked.

"Well she may or may not have threatened to kick my ass if she sees me again" i laughed scartching the back of his neck nervously.

"I'm glad to have a bodyguard as a best friend" i laughed steeping out of the car.

The silence rained among us again until we walked into the house as he sat on the couch in the living room. "I'll put him in bed then we can talk" i said as he nodded his head.

I head to my bedroom laying zach on the bed careful not to wake him and placed a few pillows around him in cas he felt like tossing around.

"Would you like anything to drink?" I asked walking to the living room. I knew i was stalling but i have no idea what to expect out of this conversation.

"Water is fine" he answered quietly.

I poured him a glass of water and for myself an orange glass. I set the tray on the table taking a seat next to him. The tension in the air rising, none of us dared to speak.

"So a baby boy, how did that happen?" He finally asked titling his head in my direction.

"Okay umm after our break up, i was kind of more depressed than usual. I know it's useless but this the most real relationship i ever had. So i stayed in this mood til we got back to LA. To cheer me up Olivia suggested to party in a club since it's our last summer day..." i explained but he cut me off.

"When i specifically told you not to accompany her..." he raised his eyebrows making me chuckle.

"Yeah... how fool was i. Anyway i got pretty drunk and ended it up in some guy's bed, unfortunately not all guys are like you, i had sex with him while i was absentminded and not thinking straight" i sighed. He grabbed my hand sending me an encouraging smile.

"Wait... when you slept with him, that was your first time right?" He asked though it sounded more of a statement.

"Yeah but since i was so drunk i didn't feel any pain if that's what you're worried about" i chuckled but he shook his head.

"No i mean your first time should be with somebody special. Someone who makes you feel safe and protected not a one night stand" he exclaimed sending me a sorrowful glance.

"Maybe.. you can make me feel like that" i took the chance because since we started the conversation i couldn't get what he really wants.

"I'd be happy too" he smiled. Well that made me more relieved.

"The thought of being pregnant never crossed my mind until i started having mood swings at college and made a few enemies then i skipped my period... that's when my life fell apart..." i sniffed a tear ran down my cheek.

"It's okay, I'm here now" he mumbled wipping it away with his thumb.

"In the same day i called my parents and of course they didn't like it. They told me either i do an abortion or they'll consider their daughter dead. That was the toughest day of my life, even if they're obnoxious parents, i didn't wanna lose them. But i thought if i don't have the baby I'll proceed studies i despise so i had nothing to lose... i withdrew my college application" i continued biting my lips.

"And you still hadn't talked to your parents since the pregnancy?" He asked as i nodded my head.

"Afterwards i got a job at the cafe to get money to raise my baby. And it went well so far, oli has been always there whenever i needed her. But i always had a doubt you might hate me when you find out so that's why i didn't tell you immediately" i apologised taking a deep breath.

"Seriously!? Why would i be bothered by a cute baby? I love you and i wanna be with you. My reaction might have sent you a wrong message but I'm sorry" he said wrapping his arms around me.

We stayed like this for a few minutes in each other's embrace, it felt really good. "Can i stay here?" He suddenly asked pulling away.

"I'm not sure... i mean since he's sick, he might wake up more often in the night... you probably have work..." i hesitated sighing.

"No it's okay... I'm free tomorrow anyway" he smiled.

Yeah i couldn't hold it anymore, these smiles were turning me on so much. I grabbed his chin crashing my lips against his in a heated passionate kiss.

I pulled away  resting my forhead against his chuckling "I'm glad we sorted things out"
