I laid in Oscars arms, on his sixteenth birthday. He glided his hand down my back and sighed. I looked up at him while he stared at the ceiling.

"You know one day, the Santos will be all mine. That means I'll always have this target on my back and with you as my novia you will too, but I don't want that for you. That's why I want you to leave me, I wouldn't know what to do if I lost you."He said and I sat up looking at him in disbelief.

"Oscar 'spooky' Diaz. You know I love you and I'll never leave your side no matter what. I've been by your side since the sandbox and we've gotten into things much more disastrous than you being in a gang and the leader at that. I'll always fight with you. As long as we have each other we're stronger than an army of a billion."I said with a smile before he sat up with a smile.

"I know, I just wanted to hear you say it. Also we didn't get these tattoos for nothing."He said as we looked at our names on each other's forearm in cursive.

"I'll never regret it, no matter what happens."I said with a smile before Oscar pulled me into a deep kiss.

I woke up with a sigh and I looked at my arm to see that his name was still there, out in deep bold cursive. No matter what I still never regret this tattoo and most of all I'll never regret any of my decisions I've made.

I had gotten up to see Monse's door closed as I knocked.

"Hey you wanna go out with me and get breakfast?,"I asked through the door. "Yeah! I'll be out in a minute."She said back.

"Oh and Cesar you can come too!,"I yelled as I waited for a response. "Thanks JT!,"He yelled back and I laughed before getting ready and I walked out to see Monse and Cesar waiting and we got into the car driving off.

"Hey Jyre?,"Cesar asked.

"Yeah Cesar?,"I asked focusing on the road.

"What happened between you and Oscar? You know after you left he was a mess he wouldn't eat, he wouldn't sleep and he got more involved in being a Santos and he turned so cold-"

"Cesar! That is none of your business I know that's your brother and you want to know what happened, so does he but I just got back here. I'm not ready nor willing to let anything go get alright?! I'll do it on my time, so until then don't ask about it."I said angrily before the car went quiet for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry I just-"

"I know Cesar, just drop it."I said before turning up the radio and we drove to IHOP and ate before going back to the ridge, and on our way there we went down the prophets block to have them staring down the car as they walked by the car and I drove as my gaze never shifted I just looked at them.

"Aye Santos!,"They yelled when we drove down the street and they would pat the back of the car.

We were almost off the block as a girl I recognized stood in front of my car as my gripped tightened on the wheel.

"So you are back in town

"So you are back in town. I guess I can finally get my rematch bitch, now that Oscar isn't here to save you."She said with a glare.

"Tiana, you and I both know I beat your ass that day. Spooky ain't save shit, you're just mad because you told everyone how you would beat my ass, but all you got was embarrassed bitch. Now I suggest you move from in front of my car before you're under it."I said glaring.

"You forget, you're in my territory we can have you dead within seconds and no one will ever find you,"She said with a sinister smirk.

"Jyre."I heard Monse say and I looked back to her and Cesar to see the fear across their faces, if it was only me I'd take the chance, but they were here and I needed to keep them protected.

I slyly grabbed the gun from under my thigh and set it between my legs, just Incase things took a turn.

"Get our the car!,"She yelled, I slowly pressed the gas moving forward a little to scare her as she jumped back.

"Get the fuck out of my way Tiana!,"I yelled with one hand on the wheel and the other on my gun.

She stood her ground and I gripped my gun tighter having it ready to shoot.

Then a shot went off.
