"Dinner was delicious, as always." Talia smiled as she brought Darry in for a hug.

It was their first dinner with Dallas back. Normally, Talia would be beyond happy, but her mind was preoccupied; the rumble was only two days away, and she didn't know what to expect.

"You wanna take any back with you?" Darry offered. Talia smiled but shook her head. He knew that her parents were still in the hospital, but she was living with Dallas again, the couple had the food that Buck offered from the bar.

"I think we'll be fine, thank you though!" She replied, hugging Darry one last time before exiting the kitchen.

It was late, and Talia, having reunited with Dallas, was finally starting to attend school... Albeit, late, but she was still going. That's all that counted.

"You ready?" Dallas asked, swinging his keys in his hands as he stood up from the couch.

Talia nodded and joined him by the door as they all said their goodbyes to the gang.

Everyone was smiling, laughing, and having a good time. Yet Talia couldn't get her mind off of the violence that would ensue in such a short amount of time. Everyone was making jokes about it and not taking it seriously, and Talia seemed to be the only one concerned about the matter at hand.

She sat back in the leather seat of Dallas' car and sighed, running few fingers through her hair. Anxiety was coursing through her veins, and as much as she tried to deny it, she couldn't. She needed a drink... Or to sleep until the whole thing was over.

"Everything okay, Tex?" Dallas asked as he slid into the driver's seat.

She nodded slowly. "Just worried, is all."

He nodded back to her and stuck the keys into the ignition, driving them in the direction of Buck's.

"About the rumble? Still?"

Talia nodded.

"I'm afraid of one of you guys getting hurt."

Dallas scoffed. "We aren't prissy like those Soc boys. We'll be fine."

Talia shrugged. "I mean really, because you and Two-Bit were having a bit of trouble with just Bob and Randy, so what happens if you get outnumbered?"

Dallas started at her, eyebrows furrowed. "C'mon, I shook up Randy pretty good, can't deny that."

"I don't think I'm getting my point across that I don't want you to go to that rumble..."

The couple was silent for a few more moments. Rain softly splattered on the windshield and spread across the passenger side window as Talia watched the city go by.

"I can't abandon my gang." Dallas said quietly.

Talia nodded. "I understand. Really, I do. I just don't want you to get hurt."

Once again, silence was instilled between the couple, until Dallas brought his fist down onto the steering wheel. The loud 'thud' made Talia jump, and she looked over to see a very angry looking Dallas.

"I'm tough, Tals! You don't understand it, you don't know what it's like! You haven't been around us for long enough to know what this is like! You get tough like me, and you don't get hurt! That's the way it goes!"
