Stain had always considered himself a loner

He knew that sacrifices are to be made when choosing the path of villainy, one of which is cutting all ties with the people he loved.

Family, friends, relatives— or simply people he knew are not allowed to be contacted.

As much as it hurts for him to break their bond, keeping them safe was his number one priority.

———

Stain was a popular figure among the villain community. He's very skilled in fighting and his ideology and goals were easily respectable.

A lot of villain groups and organisations tried to court him. But joining a group meant meeting lots of villains with different goals and perspectives.

And he does not want to work with people he disagrees with.

Some villains are just plain evil, villains like them only seek chaos, fun and excitement. They don't really think about the consequences, they just wan't thrill, war, fights and everything that happens in an apocalypse.

Most of the leaders in a villain organisation have a God Complex. Villains like them often look down on people and display there superiority by making orders and punishments. They are most likely obsessed with ruling the world, to always have everyone below them.

Stain are neither of those types, he was a villain who had a vision. A vision where fake heroes no longer exist. A vision where society treated everyone with importance. A vision where everyone is accepted, no matter how dumb or evil your quirk is, or on how you look, dress or act.

Or even if you don't have a quirk

You have to be accepted.

That is Stain's ideology

Being a loner, Stain wasn't comfortable with meeting new people.

Well, you can't really blame him. It's been years since he had any proper social interaction, he absolutely cant contact his family, he also didn't like working with other villains.

So it's no surprise that he had been nervous when meeting the young greenette.

But after their embarrassingly awkward meeting, Izuku started to warm up to him, in an unbelievably fast pace.

Under all that shy demeanour the greenette displayed, he was actually a very bubbly and bright kid.

Throughout their whole walk, Izuku had been talking non-stop, rambling about heroes and villains quirks.

The boy was intelligent, there's no denying that.

He was an analytical thinker, and had very good observations skills. He talked about quirks with complete detail, and even added its strength and weakness or ways on how to defeat the user.

But there's something also Stain noticed

Izuku enjoyed talking about quirks. It looked like it was his hobby, not something he was forced to do.

Stain was grateful that he had chosen an amazing student. Despite the kid's lack in physical abilities, he was smart and had a strong mind. He was a natural thinker and actually enjoyed analysing things.
