It has been a month since the death of Aunt May. Ava had moved in with Peter to comfort the now broken hero. Once she knew he was going to stay, she asked him a question:

"Peter, do you want to go to college where everyone at Midtown is now?" Ava asked rubbing Peter's back.

"I don't know, Ava. I have some fear that I will flip out."

"I'll be with you."

"I guess I can give it a try," Peter said kissing Ava on the forehead.

The Next Day

Peter walked through the halls being eyed by the students. They knew he was Spiderman, noticing the eyes on him, he went to the reception desk promptly to check in.

"Aren't you Spiderman?" the lady asked after seeing his ID.

"What happens if I say yes?" Peter asked cautiously.

"Thank you for all you do. J Jonah Jameson is just a hot head."

"Thank you," Peter replied now walking towards Ava.

The pair walked into Science as the teacher greeted Parker.

"Hello, Mr. Parker. There is a seat next to Harry."

Peter sat down quietly, focusing on his darkened mind. He couldn't ever forgive Harry, neither Norman. The class progressed and Peter still hasn't said a thing.

Harry began talking to Peter, "Don't talk to me." Peter replied, interrupting Harry.

"That's no way to treat your friend, Peter."

"Friend?!" Peter shouted, clearly knowing what was going to happen, "Do you even know what you have done to me?"

Harry looked at him confused. Smoke appeared beside him, "Calm down, my student." The figure wore a skull mask and had smoke radiating off of his body. His touch seemed to slightly calm down Peter, but Peter was still angered.

"You shouldn't have come here, Peter. You are awakening your own monster." the figure said before disappearing.

There was nothing anyone could do, Peter's monster still came out. He threw Harry out into the hall, "You ruined me!" Peter shouted as he walked towards a sprawled Harry. He threw a punch and walked out of the college. Ava followed him with a frown.

"Peter!" Ava shouted in fear and uncertainty.

Peter's rage calmed down, a tear came down his eye, he hugged Ava close, "I'm sorry."

"I love you, Peter."

"I love you too, Ava," Peter said kissing Ava on her lips, the couple made their way back to the Parker residence.
