Chapter 6

Olivia's POV:

We were on the news. The Caribbean news. I couldn't even think straight. One half of me was insanely flattered, but the other half, the half that was developing feelings for Justin and enjoying our privacy, hated it. Oh crap... I just didn't know what to think. I couldn't even function properly when Justin told me that he was taking me out.

"C'mon, Liv. Get around!" Justin tugged at my hand and pulled me back into reality. I hopped up, and our faces were so close... Being this close to Justin couldn't be healthy.

"Alright," I breathed out, feeling incredibly ridiculous not even being able to look at Justin without developing some sort of inability to talk.

"Hey, let's get going, gorgeous," Justin winked, but grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. Why did my body have to fit so well with his?

"I..." but I couldn't talk. He smelled so good... Fantastic, really. Like he was trying to seduce me with his damn smell! The popstar pulled me closer and closer until our lips were only a centimeter away. I found myself wondering how I managed to tear my lips away from his last night, when I couldn't now.

"'A man's kiss is his signature,' " Justin quoted before closing the distance between our lips.

We always did this! It was so sudden. One second, we would be joking around and just having fun, but suddenly, the mood would change and we would be kissing. Our lips moved in sync, I needed to pull away, but I just couldn't. Something about Justin was so... Intriguing. He wrapped his arms all the way around my waist, daring me to try and tease him or pull away, but I didn't want to.

"Your signature is very nice," I whispered onto his lips and watched his smile grow as he pushed his lips against mine once more.

We were torn apart by Justin's iPhone ringing. He growled a tiny bit before removing a hand from my lower waist and slipping it into his pocket. Somehow, he managed to continue looking perfect, even with an annoyed facial expression.

"Hello?" He answered in an almost rude tone.

"Be nice," I whispered, still only inches from his face, but controlling myself.

Justin jokingly rolled his eyes at me, "Yeah, bro. Liv and I will be back soon. Yeah. Yes. I know we have work. It'll be fine. We're only here a few more days! Please. Why?! Because I needed a vacation, and I wasn't about to leave my new girlfriend. You knew. Yes. Fine. Bye, Scooter."

"Is everything alright, J?" I asked Justin.

"Sure. Scooter's just all worked up."

"We have to go back, don't we?" I asked quietly, as I had been enjoying these last few days.

"Yes... I'm sorry, Liv. But let's make the most of our last day here."

"Okay."

Six hours later, Justin and I were cuddled up on the beach again. Justin was playing his guitar and I was watching the beautiful Caribbean sunset. For some reason, I was kind of emotional about leaving this place. It was so peaceful.

"Justin?" I looked into my publicity boyfriend's eyes, but he avoided mine.

"Yeah, Liv?" He didn't stop playing and he didn't look up.

"This won't last forever, will it?" I asked him.

"What do you mean?" He said, getting curious and pausing in his guitar playing.

"The peacefulness."

"No, Liv. It won't." He sighed, and strummed to the tune of As Long As You Love Me on his guitar.
