Thea?

Oh my goodness...she's back! She's finally back!

I smiled from ear to ear as the familiar girl walked inside.

The class started to go chaotic as Thea stepped inside, which made the teacher afflicted by the loud noises that they've created.

I wasn't aware of how noisy our classmates are because I was too focused on Thea. She didn't change one bit, considering 2 weeks is quite a long time. She still has her galaxy-themed bag with her Saturn keychain. Her copper hair is still tied into a ponytail. Not to mention her confident-like expression is still visible.

Yup, I can conclude that she is indeed, the original Thea.

"Ah...Mrs. Thea, it's nice to have you back." The teacher smiled, Thea returned his gesture with a simple smile.

The teacher turned his body to face the other students, "As you all know... Mrs. Thea here has been absent for about 2 weeks now, due to her family problems in another country. But now, she's back and let's hope her family has solved their problem." Thea nodded while the teacher explained the reason for her absence.

I hope her family is alright, she's not the type to tell her friends how she feels, so I'm quite concerned. I wish that she's more opened to pouring out her feelings.

"Okay, Mrs. Thea, you are permitted to take a seat." The teacher finally finished explaining as Thea slightly nodded and walked to her seat beside me.

She slowly walks towards her seat while holding her backpack handle. She smiles here and there as our classmates waved their hands at her.

I decided to help her out by pulling the chair so she can sit on it comfortably. When she arrives, she slung her backpack onto the chair and sat down. After she's seated, she turns to look at me and whispered, "Thanks."

I smiled and turned my head so I'm facing the whiteboard. I could see Violet greeting Thea from the corner of my eyes and Linzy jumping up and down on her seat. I giggled while lowering my head so the teacher won't catch me not paying attention to him.

It truly is a pleasure to have her back, now our squad is complete.

"Alright students, now that's settled, I'm going to be announcing your scores from the pop quiz that we had a week ago." The whole class started grunting and slumped back on their chairs.

"Hey, you guys had a pop quiz last week?" Thea asked.

I nodded, "Yeah..it was quite hard to be honest. We were not expecting a pop quiz, we just started going into the next chapter."

"I'm so glad I didn't come to school last week." Thea laughed, "but to hear that the quiz was hard from a person like you, I bet it was extremely difficult." She continued.

I shrugged my shoulders, "Well not really? There were some challenging questions that boggles up your brain. The rest was okay."

"She's the only one who thinks the quiz was mediocre, my head almost cracked open because of how hard it was." Linzy butted in, Thea laughed while I just shook my head.

"Violet thinks it's also mediocre."

Violet widened her eyes, "Why am I dragged into this conversation?" Linzy just shrugged while cupping her face with her hands, lightly patting her cheeks.

"Okay, I'm going to be announcing your scores, so I would appreciate it if all of you listened to me." The teacher said, preventing us from continuing our conversations.

The class became uncomfortably quiet, the only sounds I could hear are my heart palpitating against my chest. Not to mention the atmosphere is really tense here, it almost feels like oxygen is slowly decreasing.
