Each phrase has it's own meaning to each individual. But to be the sun, you have to hide your pain. Like the sun, you will never be looked at for long, no one will see what is behind the brightness you display. For they do not care. You are simply just another factor of their every day lives. You are worthless until you are gone. For once you are gone, they fall into darkness. Though you are never truly gone. You take many forms. You are the essence of the earth. You give Mother Nature her warm glow. You are the moon that shines in the darkest of nights. You are the stars that represent those whom we have lost. You are the twinkle in a child's eye. You are beautiful in every way. But sometimes, that beauty gets in the way. Your beauty hides your scars. It hides the burns that others have caused. To be the sun, you must blanket your emotions with a smile. For nobody wants to feel your pain, nor see your suffering. They only wish to give you theirs, as they know will never complain, you will just take their darkness and pretend you aren't fading away.

So if you wish to be the sun, don't be fooled into thinking it is fun. For one day, you will wish you would have been more careful than to wish for a cage.
