[Self-introductions]

"You're number 1?!" as the whole group looked at me, and turned to look at Principal Moroboshi.

"She is in fact, rank number 1. She has stayed at the highest ever since she enrolled into the school, and until now, she's still unbeatable in terms of her grades." Principal Moroboshi said.

I looked at them, was being the top in school something amazing? I don't get it. 

"Now that you know, please do help her get use to the school. She will also be staying her from now on as well." My eyes widened at the statement.

"WHAT?! I didn't know about this!" I exclaimed.

"Your father just decided the moment before you arrived. Everything you need will be in the dorm. Now, please leave my office, I have appointments to attend to." The principal pushed us out.

We stood outside at the hallway, not knowing what to do, until someone suggested to go to the dorms to sort the stuff out. The guy with the headphones around his neck took his phone out and told us to wait because someone was calling him.

"Yeah. Just meet us back at the dorms." as he hung up on the phone and we made our way there.

"Why don't we start with the introductions first? We don't know your name and you probably don't know ours either."

I nodded and introduced myself, "Nice to meet you. My name is Nijino Yume. I'm 15. I've been taking my exams and tests and everything at my house. That's why you never see me in school. I also don't leave the house very often, so I might as well be new around here. Today was my first day stepping into the school. Before today, I've only ever been in front of the school. Feel free to just call me Yume."

"Nice to meet you Yume-chan! My name is Nanakura Koharu. You can call me Koharu. My rank number is 3. We're all the same age, we're just a couple months older or younger than each other." I guess I called her Koharu-san...? She's the one that called out to me when I was lost.

"Hi Yume. My name's Sakuraba Laura, just call me Laura. My rank number is 4. Look forward to see how the top student does!" She chuckled. She seems like the really competitive kind.

After that, Mahiru-san introduced herself. Her full name is Kasumi Mahiru, she's siblings with Kasumi Asahi-san. Their rank number is 5 and 6 respectively. Apparently Mahiru-san does Karate, and she breaks those wooden boards whenever she gets excited or angry about something. Asahi-san seems to be a bit scared of his younger sister whenever she gives him a glare. I don't see why not though, Mahiru-san is intimidating in her own way. She's charismatic.

Then there's also Igarashi Nozomu-san and Kira Kanata-san. Their rank number are 9 and 8 respectively. Kanata-san seems like a really analytical person, he keeps starting his sentences with "According to my analysis...". Nozomu-san looks really kind, we haven't spoken much, so I don't know.

I came to a realization, "Then who's the rank 2?"

"Ah, that's Subaru-kun. Yuuki Subaru-kun. He's the smartest out of all of us, that's of course until we met you today." Asahi-san chuckled.

"Our rank always switches between number 3 to 9, but Subaru's rank is always the same." Kanata-san added.

"Isn't he coming over now?" Nozomu-san asked.

Kanata-san nodded, but I said, "Can I go to my dorm first? I'd like to see it."

It wasn't like I didn't want to meet Yuuki Subaru. I just had a bad feeling when I heard his name, and I really do want to see my dorm. Koharu-san stood up and said, "I'll show you where yours is then."

We took a lift up to the sixth floor. Koharu-san explained to me that there is two rooms per floor. Only the top 10 in the school can stay in this building, but for some reason, the person who was in rank 10 didn't want to stay in here, so he requested to be in the normal dormitory building.

Apparently my neighbour is also Yuuki Subaru, so I guess I'll see him sooner or later?

"Yume-chan, this is your room. You need your student ID to access your dorm, you remember to bring it with you where ever you go. If you need anything or have any questions, feel free to ask anyone in this building. I'll be going now." as Koharu-san said while waving.

I took out my student ID and tapped on the sensor with it. The door made a click sound and opened. I pushed the door open and stepped into the room. And...

"Wow..." as I looked around the room in awe.

The room was really spacious and the bed was really big. The bed I had in my house was a single bed, but this was a king sized double bed. It wasn't like my parents didn't have enough money, they just said it wasn't necessary so they didn't get a bigger bed for me. The bathroom was really big too, there's both a bathtub and a shower. I can't wait to take a bubble bath~

I looked over at the closet and there was my unique uniform hung there neatly.

After taking a shower and waited for my hair to dry, I tried to go to sleep. But I could't for some reason so I went out to the balcony to look at the moon. Looking at the moon calms me down, it's always so pretty, shining in the dark night sky, reflecting such warm light.

"Eh?" I heard an unfamiliar voice.

I turned to look at the direction of the voice, the owner of the voice was a male with brown hair and sapphire blue eyes. 

"Yes? Who are you?" I asked.

Without answering, he kept staring at me with an indescribable expression.
