"I understand your request." Principal Moroboshi said.

I bowed and thanked him, I was indeed grateful towards the Principal right now. My fever has subsided and I've started going to school again, the first thing I did was go to the Principal for a request, a favour so to say.

I wanted to see if he was able to make students stop challenging me. Challenges don't happen very often, since the stakes are often higher, especially if your rank is high. However, people have been challenging me over and over again, it's been hindering my learning experience in school. It's rather annoying for me.

Thankfully, he agreed to make me off-limits from challenges until this school test was over. I excused myself from the office with a smile on my face. It feels as if a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

I heard the bell ring and quickly rushed to my first class of the day.

During lesson...

I was writing the notes for myself during the class because I've already learnt the stuff that the teacher was currently teaching. The notes that I'm writing is for the upcoming test, I tend to remember things better if I write them myself.

But then again, I probably wouldn't be in class if it was for him. He did take care of me when I was sick. And if I don't pay him back in one way or another, it's going to bother me.

Ugh.

Yume has been constantly thinking about how to thank Subaru, but she couldn't come up with anything. She couldn't focus on her studies after she started thinking about it, so she practically made no progress in her notes by the time the lesson ended.

She was taught to repay every favour whenever someone helped her. She'd always find a way to repay the person, but for some reason, she couldn't find something that was good enough for Subaru.

She ruffled her hair in frustration and groaned.

Why on Earth is this so hard?! I don't like this.

"What's wrong Yume?" A voice suddenly asked Yume, scaring her.

Yume turned to see Mahiru holding her books. She sat down next to Yume and Yume shrugged and told her, "So you know how I was sick a few days ago and my neighbour took care of me?"

"Neighbour...? Oh, you mean Subaru." Mahiru said in realization.

"Yeah, anyways. I was thinking about how to pay him back for taking care of me you know? It annoys me that I would stay in his debt if I don't do something." Yume stated.

And who knows when he's going to bring it up when I don't want to help him.

"I know what you can do!" Mahiru said with a smile.

"...and you thought I would need help studying?" Subaru said skeptically, with a brow raised.

"I mean, if you don't, I can just leave-" I said, getting ready to leave.

"Wait." Subaru cut in and I looked at him.

What is wrong with him? He makes it sound like he doesn't need my help and now he's changing his mind? I've never seen someone so indecisive.

"...I'll take up your offer." He eventually said.

I rolled my eyes and sat down to his right. He suggested to just study together because he doesn't really know if he needs help with studying, and we could probably help each other. I guess trying to leave right now would be a problem.

I put my notes down and began to continue on them.

It's been awhile since we started studying, Subaru had found a few things he didn't understand, so I explained it to him. He's quick on picking up things, so it wasn't really all that hard in teaching him. He's just simply smart, no wonder he's always the second in the whole school.

"Tomato, can you pass me your paper for a minute?" He said, a bit louder than usual.

I looked at him weirdly and just passed it to him. What does he even need it for in the first place? He flipped it to a blank page and wrote something in pencil.

"Don't read this out loud."

"I don't know if you've realised it, but I think someone's been standing outside the room for quite awhile now."

I shook my head and turned back enough for me to see the door, he was right. There was someone standing there, and I could recognize that hair anywhere. The blonde hair with a tinge of orange, that's definitely Mahiru-chan.

I wrote back.

"What's she doing outside of your room? Does she need something from you?"

He rolled his eyes and made a cross with his fingers.

"Definitely not. But I could think of a few reasons why she's there."

"Okay..."

"She's probably spying on us."

I cocked my head to the side, confused at his statement.

"She's making it her personal mission to make sure the both of us become a 'thing'."

I stood up from the chair abruptly, exclaiming, "WHAT?!"

His eyes widened and pulled me back down, but unfortunately, I fell and well, crashed into him. My face definitely felt warm the moment I realized the position we were in. We probably looked like we were hugging each other.

I immediately pulled away from him and looked aside. I didn't see his face fully, but I definitely caught a glimpse of his face. It was red too.

At the same time...

Oh my god!!!

This is going into my collection.

I don't know what they were doing, but thank ME for suggesting Yume to help Subaru with his studies. I thought they weren't going to when Subaru looked so skeptical about it. He is like a genius when it comes to studies and probably didn't need help.

I'm so telling the others about this.

Sorry for the late update. I have come to attention that I probably need an update schedule.

Lots of you seem to be really happy with this book. So I'd like to update this as often as I can.

So LISTEN UP! (or read up? no? alrighty.)

'Results' from now on will be updated on every other Saturday.

Which means the next chapter will be up on the 13 July 2019.
