Ophelia POV

"Li, attack you opponent!" Yells Dan.

Uh? What? Oh shit!

I attack my opponent but too late. Lizzie pins me down on the ground smirking at me.

Why wasn't I concentrating?

She gets up from me and dusts her pants. "You are so weak, Ophelia Lockhart" she smirks and walks away.

Jen comes and pulls me up.
"Why were you daydreaming in middle of the match?"

"I wasn't." I reply but earn a narrowed glare from her.

"You are missing Nate, aren't you?" She asks.

Before I could reply. Dan cuts it off by saying, "If your opponents were rogues you will be killed in a second. Your mate is just a human he can't even save you so stop getting distracted and concentrate." He huffs and walks away towards other people training.

Jen and I roll our eyes.
Dan doesn't even acknowledge me but he talks to me only when he wants to yell or taunt.

"When is Nate going to be back?" She asks me passing me a bottle of water.

"I dont know." Sigh! I didn't even see him since morning and its already evening. I read his messages early morning saying he is going out of town for some work.

I know he is searching for that witch and I also know that there are many things which he isn't telling me, his way of so called protecting me but I can't help myself to worry about him and I have this weird feeling that something is going to happen. I don't know what.

He did say that rogues are after him. Afterall he is a lycan and rogues are killing all the lycans first so that we werewolves don't have any help and we make rogue leader Dominic as our ruler...like thats gonna ever happen! Casper who killed my parents is the beta of Dominic. Thanks to Dan I found the name atleast.

Since rogue's attacks are increasing so are Dan's training sessions. Urgh!

I feel someone's intense stare so I look around to see Jake staring at me from far away.

Ya you are thinking right! Thats the ex beta and ex best friend of Dan who almost marked me if it weren't for Nate saving me.

After pleading Dan not to kill him, he is finally out of dungeons, training along with other wolves. Dan purposely gives him a hard time, yelling and scowling at him at times and I try my best to ignore both of them but I can't help to feel a little scared of him. What if he tries something else again? Maybe I shouldn't have stopped Dan from banishing him from the pack.

We have an eye contact and he immediately turns the other way. Weird!

We have our mate now. He can't do anything. Says my wolf.

And our mate is an alpha lycan too. Jake won't stand a chance. She happily sings.

Yes you are right.

"Why don't you just go to his house?" Jen asks me.

"I don't know...."

"Are you two in medieval period. You are his mate so just go visit him."

She is right. Sigh! After dinner like a burglar I leave the pack house without making any sound.

According to the directions Tom once gave me, I reach a house isolated from the busy Silverwoods town. As I approach the house its huge almost like our pack house.
