Ophelia POV

"What happened? How do you know my mother?" I ask Casper and he turns away breathing heavily.

"Please..." I beg and he stills.

"I know you were from black river pack! What happened? Why did you kill my parents?"

He slowly turns and walks towards me placing his hands on mine which are holding the cell bars and narrows his eyes.

I stare at him, he wants to scare me away but I have come this far, I won't budge!

"I hate to see these eyes, reminds me of your father, full of useless fucking pride! He was so happy being beta of the pack, being respected, having a family, you and your mother! I hated to see my love with that bastard Lockhart!" He says with his hold on my hands tightening.

"I had no family, no pack, no one. I was just a teenager who was going to die because of some foolish hunters but your mother saved me. She was beautiful, with long brown hair and beautiful blue eyes! Any man would fall on his knees just by hearing her speak! On top of that she was a white wolf! So beautiful...you look just like her." I looks at me in daze. I am feeling uncomfortable.

"When she came to know that I was an abandoned wolf she took me to black river pack. They took me in and I was happy, I was in love with your mother! But she never looked at me, not even once...she was bewitched by that filthy Lockhart! Fucking Mates!" He growls looking in my eyes!

He is seriously delusional. Why would my mother even look at him when she had her mate.

"They were mates. She loved my father. Why would she like you?" I say not liking how he is talking about my father!

"She was mine! I hated to see them together! I wanted her all to myself! No one could touch her other than me!"

I clench my fists controlling my anger. I want to punch him right now. What a pyscho!

"One day after you were born, when your father left with the alpha to attend some duties, everyone else in the pack was busy celebrating a fucking festival and she was all alone taking care of you! I went to your house!" He smirks.

I gulp nervously.

He must have see the look in my face because he laughs.

"Just like this, her expression was just like this full of fear! I wanted to make her mine! Wanted to fuck her! I didn't care if she was mated or not!"

I don't want to listen to this jerk anymore!

"Before I could, Lockhart barged in the house! Fucking mate bond! She must have told him through that! We had a bloody fight and I was locked up in a cell! And at midnight with the help of someone I escaped! Can you guess who was that?" He asks with a mocking gleam in his eyes! I look at him unable to think or say anything!

"Black river Alpha!" He bellows a laugh, I stand there in shock! That bastard helped him?

"He had a mate, a family but that moron still wanted your mother just like me! He hated your father! He let me out only when I promised that I will kill Lockhart! I escaped that night and lived as a rogue! Your father couldn't find me for so many years. I pity that man! And that alpha realized it late that letting me out was a huge mistake! I threatened to kill his family and pack. I told him to kill your father and I would leave him and his family alone. But he couldn't, your father was a powerful man and that alpha a coward! So with his help I kept a eye on the pack, an eye on your parents! After many years, I attacked them. I killed the whole pack! It broke my heart to kill your mother but I killed her too! She made a mistake of choosing Lockhart instead of me! If she is not mine then she can't be anyone else's! I tore both of them piece by piece! It felt so good looking them at my feet, covered in blood! Taking their last breath! Their faces unrecognisable!" He says laughing and I shudder. My hands shiver. I hold back my sob, I remember how they looked when I went home after school.
