"So..." Erin stated, "where should we eat?" The Reagans and Linda were all going out for dinner. They had been arguing for about five minutes. Jamie wanted pizza, Linda wanted Italian, and Frank just wanted red meat.
"I know," Danny smiled deviously, "let's go to Sarducci's."
Everyone smiled, knowing exactly what he had in mind.
*******
Joe groaned when he saw who had sat down and went over to his co-worker, "Pam, take table five. Please!"
Pam smirked when she looked over at table five. "I don't wan' 'em. You take 'em. They're weirdos."
Joe groaned again and headed to table five. "Name's Joe, I'll be servin' you. Want drinks?" He said quietly and incredibly fast.
"You look so cute, Joseph!" Mary smiled at her son wearing the uniform.
"Ma!" He complained, blushing, while Danny bit back a giggle.
"Better get used to it, son," Frank smirked.
"I'm eighteen!"
"That means not'in'." Danny shook his head.
"Nothing, Danny. With a 't'," Linda corrected. She knew he couldn't help the way he talked, but she wished he'd make an effort to sound less ignorant.
"Can I get you any drinks?" Joe wondered, annoyed.
"I'll have a beer," Frank stated.
"Iced tea with lemon, please," Mary smiled at her son.
"Root beer," Jamie nodded.
"Arnold Palmer," Erin told Joe.
"I'll take a beer," Danny said, everyone looking at him. "What? I'm legal age. As of three weeks ago, I can officially drink!"
"Linda?" Joe smiled at her. He knew his secret crush was on Linda wasn't going to get anywhere. She was so in love with Danny and Vice versa.
"I'll have.... root beer, thank you." Linda was one year under legal drinking age in New York, so she had to settle for sodas and mock tails, which she didn't mind. Her Dad has let her taste beer before, and she hated it. She figured she'd be more of a wine person.
"Okay, I'll be back with those shortly." Joe walked away quickly, hating that his family was there, and he had to wait on them! How more humiliating could it get?
*******
"Figured our what you wanna order?" Joe asked table five grumpily.
"Steak, rare, with potatoes and green beans on the side," Frank ordered first.
"I'd like chicken bella with a baked potato and green beans, please," Mary smiled again, so proud of her son.
"I'll take a pizza please." Jamie said, intending to bring home leftovers. "A large pizza with every kinda meat you have in the kitchen."
Joe rolled his eyes and wrote it down.
"I'd like the cordon blue," Erin said, followed by a gagging sound from her oldest and youngest brothers. "With fries and a salad."
"Gimme this veil parmigiana thingy," Danny ordered rudely, his every intention to embarrass his brother. "With garlic bread."
"I'll have the same thing, please," Linda smiled as they handed their menus down to her to hand to Joe. "Thank you."
Joe took the menus and high tailed off to the kitchen.
"I can't believe your family's here!" Pam laughed.
"I can tell you right now that it was Danny's idea!" Joe huffed.
********
"Thanks, Joe!" Jamie stood up from his chair after they had finished. He had eaten three slices of pizza, being able to bring home lots of leftovers.
"Thank you, Joe," Linda smiled, "Sorry 'bout Danny, but he's-"
"Danny," Joe finished Linda's sentence.
"He really does love you."
"Come on, Linda," Danny linked his arm with hers. "Thanks little bro."
Joe groaned, then sighed of relief when his family had left. He shook his head and got back to work.
