"Caviar, look! Another one of those puffer fish!" Milt exclaimed happily as the two made their way through the outskirts of town. She tripped over a rock by the creek and almost fell in, but Caviar grabbed her hood and saved her.

"Watch where you're stepping," Caviar said solemnly. Milt smiled.

"You're always looking out for me - thank you." Caviar held back a shrug and looked onwards.

"You're welcome." From there, the two spoke little, until Milt raised a question.

Through it all, Caviar seemed to know the events of the future, even without knowing a person before the encounter. Milt just had to wonder. "I didn't know it would work, the things I said. I just have an intuition," Caviar answered before Milt could ask.

"How'd you know my question then?"

"Coincidence."

"Well, would you look at that? It's a town! It's been so long since I saw this place!" Milt happily stated. Caviar's eye drifted to her face.

"You were here just yesterday," Caviar said plainly.

"You can't prove that~!" Milt joked before skipping along, Caviar following behind.

Although it was predicted that Milt would appear to somehow seem normal in this place, Caviar was a tad surprised when no one questioned his appearance - they actually looked rather relieved. Caviar had to wonder - why?

Alone in his thoughts, he thought about time, but, despite his readiness due to other experiences, he had never lived out this timeline before. It was like a fresh new world, a bit of a relief. There were worlds where Milt died to save him, where he died to save Milt, they both died trying to save the other -

Caviar decided to change the subject in his mind. He swerved past a stray cart that he assumed would come his direction, because it in a different timeline, it did. He had been correct to do so. Now, where had Milt gone off to?

He find her showing off her charms to some younger children, and when one of them saw Caviar, he exclaimed "SHARK!" The other kids immediately freaked out, while the delinquent laughed away. He smiled, although no one could seem anything more of his face than his left eye.

A woman approached Caviar, tapping on his shoulder. He turned around quickly, wanting to avoid the wasting of time. The woman was slightly surprised, but whispered into his ear. Caviar nodded, and the woman left as Caviar turned back to Milt.

"Milt, there are Fallens," Caviar stated plainly, as per usual. Milt looked away from the children and towards Caviar.

"Oh really? Which ones?"

"All of the usual, and two new bird kinds."

"Wait, all?" Milt asked with shock. Caviar nodded in response. Milt sighed. "Well, children, I must be going. I have to protect the town now~."

Mixtures of sad notions for her to stay erupted, before Milt hushed them by saying she would play with them again tomorrow. The children then dispersed, and it was just Milt and Caviar.

"So, where are they?" Milt asked. Caviar paused. The lady had said they were nearby, but not where. Plus, having never seen this far into a timeline, he had no clue. For once, he actually needed intuition.

"Around where we came from," Caviar answered, before heading towards to town to get there. "They're in the forest still, not all of them yet here. They were spotted, but not aggravated."

"Well, that's good. Let's go~! Let's go~!" Milt exclaimed with excitement. Caviar stayed close to her. He had a feeling it was necessary.
