Tom: "...."

Y/N: "come on Tom say something" I say getting nervous."

Tom: "I don't really know what to say." He says while looking at me "Australia's quite far away."

Y/N: "I know. I going next week." I quietly say while my eyes drift to the floor."

Tom: "what?! Next week?" He responds still looking at me.

Y/N: "I know, I know. I would have told you sooner but my mum only told me last night."

Tom: "I don't want you to go."

Y/N: " I don't want to go either." I say as one tear falls down my cheek.

Tom: "hey hey hey don't cry it's fine we can work this out." He quickly say awhile wiping the stray tear away with his thumb.

Y/N: "I know we can it's just that these past few weeks with you have been amazing and I don't want it to end."

Tom: "who says it's going to end?" He says while cupping my cheeks with his hands now.

Y/N: "well I just thought that you would break up with me if we can't see each other for 6 months ."

Tom: "no I'm not going to break up with you. It's has been like heaven being with you and I'm not just going to let that go down the drain. We can still text and call and FaceTime and it's not forever it's only for 6 months we can get through that." He says while softly kissing my lips.

Y/N: "ok well how about we take a break but still talk and be together if you get what I mean."

Tom: "ok if that's what you want. We can just be like friends with benefits except the benefits."

Y/N: "so just friends?" I ask slightly worried.

Tom: "well maybe while your in Australia but when you come back we can be together again."

Y/N: "ok that could work. What if you find someone better?"

Tom: "trust me love I won't ok?"

Y/N: "ok but let's spend as much time as we can together before I leave."

Tom: "of course, love." As he says that he passionate kisses me like there's no tomorrow.

                   ***a week later***

This past week has been amazing with tom. We've done everything together{😏} and I couldn't ask for a better week before I go.

I leave for the airport on half an hour and I'm making sure I've got everything ready. I was quite worried when Tom said we should only be friends but I understand where he's coming from and I know that when I come back we can act like I never left.

Me, my mum and my brother were getting in the car when someone grabbed my hand to stop me.

Y/N: "Tom what are you doing here?" I asked with a huge smile on my face.

Tom: "well I couldn't let you leave without a proper good bye could I." As he said that he pulled me in for one last kiss. I don't know how I'm not going to be able to see him everyday and be with him everyday but I try not to think about that.

Mum: " hate to break up the moment but we need to go Y/N."

Tom: "ok remember to text me everyday and call me when you can."

Y/N: "yes I promise." I say trying to hold back tears.

Tom: "well I guess I will see you in 6 months but don't worry it will go so fast and we'll see each other soon ok?"

Y/N: "yep. Goodbye tom."

Tom: "goodbye Y/N." And with those last words said I get in my car and wave  to tom as I drive past ready or should I say not ready to start the next 6 months of my life in Australia.
