"Bienvenue, Victoria."

August 26th, 1893

"Victoria Dear!"
"Y-Yes Mother?" I stuttered, shocked by her raising her voice so suddenly."I've been trying to get thou's attention for quite some time now! Must you always have your nose in a book?" Mother sighed
"I just love reading mother, this story 'Carmilla' is truly quite thrilling to read, though quite unrealistic, how would a Vampire even exist?" I started rambling to myself and Mother went stiff like a board. "thou were distracted by some  Fantasy book?" She shook her head in disbelief at me, as I started rambling again mother interrupted. "Victoria, Focus!"

"Right! What did thou ask before Mother?"
"At our Arrival, we have a few welcoming guests, I want thou to be on your best since few of them are here to see thou." guests for me? Who? I wasn't expecting to have any guests tonight or for a while...
Once the Carriage stopped suddenly, I knew we had arrived. The coachman escorted Mother out first ever so delicately before assisting me as well. "Victoria!"

I heard as I turned my head to see two familiar faces, one waving with a big cheery smile on his face, It was the Agreste Brothers, Ambrose, and Felix. I ran to them and embraced Ambrose in a warm hug. "Never would I have suspected you would be the ones waiting for me here! It feels as though time stopped when I traveled to England without you!"
"We dearly missed you Victoria, who else am I gonna pick on Felix with?" Ambrose replied as we both laughed. "Bienvenue, Victoria." I turned to see Felix with a soft smile placed on his lips, I embraced Felix into a tight hug as well. "Merci Felix, I've missed you both." I smiled

"Ambrose, Felix, Please be polite and show Victoria around the ville when you get the chance." Emilie Agreste said, approaching me with open arms for a hug. "Welcome back home dear, thou  have to tell me all about England when you get the chance!" I nodded my head in reply to her comment.

Mrs. Agreste was like my second motherly figure, Mother and Emilie have known each other since they were just filles."We also hath invited thou both to dinner tomorrow night at our home for a welcoming ball, please feel welcome to talk to my sons during the event, they usually feel lonely during these events, since they only have thou and Cleo to talk to typically, what do you say? would you like to come?

"Of course Mrs. Agreste, though thou don't need to do so much for us-"

"Nonsense! It's our treat dear" She smiled ever so gracefully.
