Tip #1: When you first start your period you should wear dark colored pants all why you are on. I say that because if you make a mistake and get blood on your pants nobody will be able to see it because you have on darker colored pants.
Tip#2: if you choose to wear light colored pants, make sure that you keep a second pair of pants with you just in case of an accident.
Tip#3: If you wear pads and you get sick of it moving every time you move, then purchase a simple panty girdle. (A panty girdle is something that holds your pad in place).
You can get it from Wal Mart. ( Don't get the whole body panty girdle. There is one just to hold your pad in place, a simple panty girdle).
