What the hell was that? He kissed me? Well it wasn't a"true" kiss but it was still something! And aren't we single? Does he still like me?
I jogged back home. When i finally arrived at the familiar house in front of me, I noticed the lack of any cars in the driveway. I went inside and saw a note on the fridge from my parents, saying they went to the art museum with Taylor. Fine with me!
I ran upstairs and put in my earbuds. I had 3 voice mails waiting for me so I listened to them. All 3 were from Ashton and were basically saying to call him back as soon as I could. So I did what any other person would do if their ex kissed them and left. I called him.
"Hello?" I said. He had picked up after the first ring.
"Hi! Ummm.." I heard things dropping and crashing in the background.
"Are you okay? You wanted me to call you and the things are crashing and you kissed me and...what is going on?"
"I still like you and I can't do this without you anymore. I need to be with you, physically and relationship-ly? Whatever, thats a word now but you know what I need. And as much as I need you, you might not even care for me anymore so all you have to say to keep me away is no. Tell me right now. It doesn't mean I'm over you or that I ever will be but I have to, Emma. I have to know."
"Wow...um..Ashton, I don't know..I just, I..um..wow." Clearly, I was speechless.. "Ashton, I feel the same way still. I don't want you to stay away. I want you with me and I just..." Why can't I tell him how I feel?! This is so frustrating! "Can you just come over and sometime tonight I'll explain. Like if you aren't doing anything today, not that I'm assuming you don't have plans but you know, if you don't have plans then I'm sure you can come over some other time but-"
I was interrupted by Ashton, who was probably done with my jibberjabbering. "Okay, yeah. I should be free tonight, unless something comes up last minute, which I would be glad to ignore to hang out with you. One thing though..."
"What's that?"
"Let's pull an all-nighter!:
"Let's do it!"

Ashton showed up at my house in 5 minutes. Dude must've drove illegally to get here this fast. I ran to the door as soon as I heard the doorbell. When I opened the door, he ran and tackled me, giving me a hug in the process.
"I missed you so much, Emma!" he said.
I giggled, "We literally got off the phone less than 10 minutes ago."
"And that was way too long!" He laughed.
He got up off me and wandered to the kitchen. "So when are we going to eat my daily between-lunch-and-dinner-meal?"
"I hate to break it to you, but I think we're the only people who eat mid-meal meals.. If that makes any sense at all."
"Yet another reason we are soul mates!" he laughed.
And I couldn't have agreed more that we were soul mates.

SORRY FOR THE EXTREMELY LATE UPDATE (ITS BEEN A MONTH) I AM SO BUSY WITH SCHOOL AND BABYSITTING AND I JUST FINISHED DOING THE WIZARD OF OZ PLAY (I WAS TIN MAN) AND I HAVE TO KEEP MY GRADES UP BECAUSE MY DAD IS THREATENING ME WITH 5SOS TIX IF I GET GOOD GRADES BUT ANYWAY< IM GOING TO TRY AND UPDATE ANOTHER TIME TODAY!
