I'm actually really proud of this one, so I hope all of you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Your heart paved a little faster than usual as you made your way to the docks along the town of Duckburg. It still seemed like you were dreaming, yet there he was, a bouquet in hand as an awkward smile made it's way onto his beak.

Donald Duck has asked you to meet him here for a date, which you immediately agreed to, after your shock had dispersed. He always gave you a bubbly kind of feeling, but knowing he possibly had feeling for you set things in a different direction.

You remember how dumbstruck you were, and now awkward it felt when the two of you stood in silence, him waiting for an answer as you tried to pull yourself together.

"You know, Y/N, it's going to be a lovely day tomorrow. Eh... if you have the time, would you want to join me by the docks... for a uhm... like a date?"

You stared at the duck, mouth hanging open a little as you tried collecting yourself. Your heart raced, your head throbbed, and you felt your breathing pick up. All you had to do was say yes... but saying yes? That seemed impossible as of this moment!

"I-I, uhm... of course! I'd love to!" You spat, the already pink color on your face turning to a deep red. Donald sighed with relief and left you, a giant grin across his beak as you gave him a tiny wave of goodbye.

Now, here you were, standing on the wooden docks where fishing boats typically came in and out. Donald shuffled over to you and handed over the bouquet, which you took a quick whiff of before returning your attention to him.

"I'm really glad you asked me here today, Donald. You were right, it is lovely..." You exclaimed happily, hearing Donald mutter something under his breath before he took your hand in his and led you to the end of the dock.

The two of you sat down and admired how the sky hit the sea. A swift breeze cooled you down and Donald kept his eyes on you, watching as you fell in love with the waves and the sunshine.

You hadn't even noticed that his hand still held yours so gently, but there wasn't a need to care. You were enjoying yourself, and that's all that Donald cared about. Your happiness.

As the hours went bye, the sun began to move down, allowing the day to begin its transition to night.

"Today was wonderful, Donald. Thank you, so much..." You smiled, letting go of his hand for the first time since this morning. Both of your hands felt lonely without the other, but it was getting late.

"No problem, Y/N." Donald assured, a cheeky little grin on his face as you giggled at his childish manner. Before leaving, you pecked him on the cheek and whispered, "Next time we meet, you better tell me what you said underneath you breath."

Fun fact: He never did.
