[how they propose] - pt. 1

I'm doing a cute one first because I scrolled through the requests and there is a LOT of angst (and oneshot requests, which I do plan to write), so be prepared for some darker preferences after this! Also, season three is here, which means new characters, which means I might be adding more to this book soon! :3

Due to the fact that I will be adding more characters, as of now I plan adding Magica and Goofy as per readers request, but I may also add Daisy after the new episode comes out, this means I'll be shortening the amount of characters per chapter. I've decided to divide them based on the normal list in which I write them, so this preference has about 12 of the characters. I will be working on the other preferences very soon for other characters, which means I will try updating faster in order to satisfy everyone. I hope you all don't mind and thank you for reading this book!

→ Huey Duck (aged up)

Huey wanted everything to be perfect just for you. He loves you so much and he wanted to prove it to you! His original plan was to take you somewhere beautiful and pop the question, but he got too nervous and couldn't bring himself to do it. While you two were walking home, he seemed upset, so you asked him what was wrong. He casually shrugged, apologized for the night not being everything he wanted, and admitted he planned on asking you to marry him. You grabbed the box with the ring he got, kneeled down, and proposed to him with the ring he got for you.

He said yes.

→ Dewey Duck (aged up)

You were at a Christmas party with Dewey and his family the night he planned on proposing. The two of you were standing beside each other when Louie pointed up at the ceiling with a smirk on his face. You looked up to find mistletoe hanging above you, and when you looked back down, Dewey was on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hands. His entire family watched as you jumped into his arms and cried yes over and over again before giving him a kiss.

The rules of mistletoe still apply, no matter what you say. But of course you said yes.

→ Louie Duck (aged up)

The two of you were on a date and Louie hadn't even planned to propose. He didn't have a plan or a ring, but he looked at you for a split second and knew that if he didn't ask you right then and there, he'd never forgive himself. You were just perfect and he couldn't imagine losing you to another person, so he grabbed your hands in his, bent down on one knee, and asked you to marry him without any other thought in his mind except for wanting to spend the rest of his life with you in his arms.

→ Webbigail Vanderquack (aged up)

Webby thought it would be fun to take you on a date to Funso's Fun Zone, a place the two of you hung out as kids for a while. As you two goofed off and had fun, Webby pulled out a ring, took your hands in hers, kneeled down, and asked you to be with her for the rest of your life.

The staff gave you free nachos as a congratulations.

→ Lena DeSpell (aged up)

Lena was terrified of popping the question you because she thought you'd reject her and your relationship would be compromised. She decided to leave little hints to hype her up for the moment: leaving sticky notes for you to find, reminiscing about things that happened randomly, and just telling you how much you mean to her every day. When you opened the door one day, she was on the ground with a ring in hand as she stared at you coming through the door. You slammed the door in front of her before panicking, opening the door as fast as you could, and then apologizing and saying that you'd never wanted anything more than to marry her.

→ Scrooge McDuck

Terrified would be an understatement when describing how Scrooge felt. He may be the richest duck in the world, but that doesn't mean he has the confidence to possibly be rejected by you and lose you forever. He planned on proposing in the most beautiful place he could think of in hopes that you would be absolutely amazed and be forced to say yes, but things didn't go as planned. You got off track and ended up in a place you didn't know with no directions, and he foolishly laughed to himself and told you his plan to take you somewhere beautiful and ask you to be with him forever. Then he said it would never happen because there was no you'd ever say yes to him after a mistake that left you both stranded. You smiled at him and gave him a kiss before you told him, "Of course I'll marry you."

→ Launchpad McQuack

He asked his closest friends, Dewey and Drake, to help him would with his proposal. They set up a beautiful candlelight dinner just for the two of you and LP decided to go all out just for you. He wore a suit and tie, and slicked his hair back so he could impress you. You had to admit that the whole date wasn't very "Launchpad like", but when he stood up from his chair and walked over to you, pulling out a box and getting down on one knee, you understood why he did it. You laughed, told him he was being ridiculous for preparing such a fancy dinner, and then accepted his proposal.

Who would ever say no to Launchpad?

→ Gyro Gearloose

It took Gyro a long time to plan everything out. There was no way he'd just ask you, and he had his doubts that you'd actually say yes. One night, he decided to prepare a few ideas he had, and when he looked at the ring he prepared for you, you snuck up behind him and asked him what he was doing. He panicked a little and tried to cover everything up, but you snatched the box with the ring out of his hands and opened it. You looked at the ring and then at him before your mouth dropped slightly. You asked him who it was for, and he rolled his eyes and told you it was for you.

"For me? You were gonna ask me to marry you?"

"Well, I... that's not-"

"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"

→ Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera

He told his mother that he had planned on asking you to marry him, and she immediately invited you over. He went from calm and ready to a nervous wreck the second you arrived. His mother made you dinner as you two talked, and it was obvious that she kept hinting at him proposing. When she left for a few minutes, he apologized for her behavior and then said he had something important to tell you. He pulled out his ring, got down on one knee, and asked you to be with him for the rest of your life. His mother interrupted your answer by taking a photo and adoring the two of you.

→ Donald Duck

Donald takes you to the docks where his boathouse used to be and you watch the sunset over the horizon. When you turn to him to make sure he's watching it, he's on one knee with a ring in one hand and and trying to wipe the sweat off the other. He wore a nervous expression as he managed to marry him but when you said yes, he jumped up happily, tripping over the edge and falling into the water with you following. Although you were both soaking wet, you had one of the best days ever.

→ Gladstone Gander

If he went full out, Gladstone thought you'd probably tell him it was too much, but if he didn't go out far enough, you might ask him if that was the best he had. All he wanted to do was hold your hands in his, bend down with a ring in his finger, and ask you to be his because you were the love of his life. So, he did that. On your next date, Gladstone held your hands in his, pulled his ring out and get down on his knee, and asked you to marry him.

It was enough for you.

→ Fethry Duck

Fethry was nervous to ask you to marry him, but he knew he wanted to nonetheless. He had no idea what to do, so he turned to the triplets to help him. Sure they were young, but he trusted them to help him as much as they could (specifically Huey). The boys had led you to a picnic set up in a beautiful clearing and Fethry was there waiting for you. You two enjoyed your date, but before it could end, he told you he had something to ask you. He fumbled with the ring for a moment before looking at you and asking you to marry him, because that's all he's ever wanted to say since he first met you.
