28 | it's your fault

Mark just laid in his bed all day. He didn't do anything.

"Mark! Come down," Jisung yelled.

Mark only rolled his eyes and got up. He opened the door to his room.

"What?" Mark said in the annoyed voice he had before he meet Donghyuck.

"Jeez. Why are you back in a grumpy mood," Jisung said.

"Is there a problem?" Mark asked with attitude.

"Yea, your attitude," Jisung yelled.

"You have the same fucking attitude as dad and I," Mark yelled.

"Whatever. Dad is calling you. He said go to his office," Jisung said. Mark simply rolled his eyes.

He walked over to Hades' office.

"You called?" Mark said as he opened the door and entered the office.

Hades looked up and saw Mark. He looks annoyed.

"Yea. I did. I was thinking maybe you should get married with someone as well," Hades said as he looked back down.

"I don't want to get fucking married. Why would I marry someone I don't even have feelings for," Mark said as he sat down in the chair in front of Hades desk.

"Mark. I said I was just thinking. I never said I was planning on doing that," Hades said.

"Don't think about it then," Mark said as he looked around the room.

"Mark. Are you ok? You've never acted like this. You were always just calm," Hades said as he looked up and looked at Mark directly.

"I'm fine," Mark said annoyed.

"Are you sure?" Hades asked with genuine concern.

"I said I'm fine! Don't you understand! Why do you suddenly care about me now!" Mark yelled at him.

"Don't raise your voice at me!" Hades yelled back.

"It's your fucking fault that I'm like this alright! You're such an asshole!" Mark yelled back. He got up and walked out of the room. He slammed the door shut.

"What's wrong with you huh?" Jisung asked. He was eavesdropping on what they were talking about.

"Fuck off," Mark mumbled.

"I heard you dipshit," Jisung yelled. Mark turned around and stared at him.

"What are you gonna do?" Jisung yelled. He walked closer to Mark till they were face to face.

Jisung stood there in front of him with his arms crossed giving him a cocky smile thinking he wouldn't do anything.

Mark got annoyed at him.

Mark smacked on the face. The slap was loud.

Jisung widened his eyes. He didn't cry and he didn't hesitate to hit Mark back.

Jisung punched Mark in the face.

"You're so fucking annoying!" Mark yelled as he punched back in the face as well.

Mark ended up punching so hard that Jisung fell back and it made a loud noise.

The door to Hades' office swung open.

"Mark! What the hell are you doing!" Hades yelled.

"Jisung was eavesdropping and giving me an attitude!" Mark yelled.

"Now does it look like I give a fuck! Don't hit your brother!" Hades yelled.

"Fuck both of you," Mark yelled. He stormed his way to room and slammed the door shut.

As soon as Mark was out of sight, Jisung started to tear up.

"Jisung? What's wrong?" Hades asked as he kneeled down.

"Mark isn't acting the same. He's getting mad more easier, he's not the same old Mark that was calm and didn't care about anything," Jisung cried.

"I don't know what to tell you Jisung," Hades said as he rubbed his nape.

"Why can't you just combine sides? I don't want to Mark to be like this and I miss Taeyong," Jisung cried.

"We can't," Hades said a bit angry which caused Jisung to flinch.

Mark stayed in his room all day. The door suddenly knocked. Mark looked at the door and just stared at it.

"Mark? It's just your mother," Persephone said. Mark got up and walked over to open the door.

"Mom. What do you want," Mark said. She closed the door behind her and walked in. She pulled Mark into a hug.

"Mark. I know you're going through a tough time right now," Persephone said. Hearing that only made him start to tear up.

"Mom. I just want to be with Donghyuck," Mark suddenly started to cry.

"I know you do. I understand how much you love him," She said still holding onto Mark in a tight hug.

"Why can't I be with him. Why can't dad and Aphrodite just agree to combine sides," Mark cried.

He said the same thing Jisung said.

"I don't know. It just not possible. Maybe there is a way but I don't know what to tell you. Just take care of yourself," Persephone said.

"Mom. Aren't you technically on Aphrodite side?" Mark asked. She shook her head.

"I'm not part of her side. I wasn't meant to be in the underworld either though but I fell in love with your father," Persephone said.

Mark just cried. He missed Donghyuck. He took out all his anger at his brother and father.
