30 | i missed you

It was the day of the wedding. Donghyuck was in the dressing room with his mother. He still had the same expression. Sad.

He missed Mark so much.

"Come on Donghyuck. Please put a smile on your face. For Jaemin at least," Aphrodite said. Donghyuck looked up and gave Aphrodite a forced smile.

Aphrodite smiled back and then walked away to help the rest. Donghyuck just looked at her.

"Why did she have to do this?" Donghyuck mumbled.

He couldn't help but think of Mark.

"What time is it?" Mark asked.

"It's almost gonna be two. Why?" Jisung replied.

"Just asking," Mark said. Jisung noticed something different about Mark. He wasn't mad or annoyed. He was calm again.

"What are you up to?" Jisung asked.

"Crashing a wedding," Mark said nonchalantly.

"Whose wedding?" Jisung suddenly asked.

"Donghyuck, of course," Mark said.

"He's getting married?" Jisung asked surprised.

"Yea," Mark sighed as he looked at the floor.

"I guess you should get dressed and go to stop it," Jisung said.

"That's what I plan on doing," Mark says.

"But how'd you find out?" Jisung asks.

"Taeyong told me," Mark said.

"Oh," Jisung replied.

"Why?" Mark asked.

"Why what?" Jisung said as he looked up at Mark.

"Why did you tell me to go and stop it?" Mark asks as he crosses his arms with a smile on his face.

"Look. I'm trying to help you. Forget what I said about being away from Donghyuck. You and him were meant to be.," Jisung smiled.

"Thanks," Mark smiled back at him.

"Alright. Go get dressed and I'll help you out," Jisung said. Mark nodded his head. He got up and ran up to his room.

The ceremony was about to begin. Everybody was in their seats. Jaemin was standing at front with a smile on his face.

The invited guests were there.

Chenle and Renjun were there. Along with Johnny and Kun. And of course Jungwoo went with his boyfriend Lucas and brought Yangyang with them.

Everyone was smiling and excited.

Donghyuck and Aphrodite were standing right behind the doors. Aphrodite had a big smile on her face. Everyone was happy except for Donghyuck. He was looking down, holding back tears.

Aphrodite opened the doors and like that the ceremony began. They were walking down the aisle. Jaemin smiled even more.

Jaemin smiled changed though. He noticed the expression on Donghyuck face. Still sad.

The ceremony had continued. Donghyuck still was pretty sad, holding back tears and fake smiling to make it seem like he was excited.

"Now before we continue. Does anybody object?" The priest asked.

Nobody said anything. When the priest was about to continue the doors swung open.

Mark stood there with a suit on.

Everybody gasped.

"I object!" Mark yelled. Aphrodite stood there shocked.

Donghyuck turned around not believing it was Mark. Once he saw him, he started to bawl his eyes out. Donghyuck got up and ran to him. He attacked him with a big hug.

Mark hugged him back. Everyone was in so much shock. Jaemin stood there heartbroken.

"Donghyuck," Mark said to him.

"Yes," Donghyuck sniffled. Mark got down on one knee and pulled out a small box.

"Donghyuck. Ever since we got separated. I was mad at everyone. I was going back to the same old me that I never wanted to go back to. I was mess. I need you by my side. Ever since I met you, you've made my life so much more interesting and happy. I missed you so much. Donghyuck, will you marry me?" Mark said.

Donghyuck looked at him and started to cry even harder. He nodded his head. Mark got up and hugged him.

Aphrodite was furious. She didn't want this happen. She looked over at Jaemin and saw him standing there with no emotion and a single tear falling down his face.

"Donghyuck! Why would you leave Jaemin for him," Aphrodite yelled at him. Donghyuck turned around and looked at her and then back at Jaemin.

Donghyuck started walking towards them.

"Mom. You forcing me to get married was only making you happy not me. I was getting more depressed each day. I don't want to marry Jaemin. He isn't the one for me. Jaemin. I'm sorry for doing this. I know you will find someone out there who really loves you. I'm not the one for you," Donghyuck said.

"Aphrodite. Let's make a proposal. Let's combine our sides," Hades said standing at the doors.

"Yea!" Jisung yelled back standing next to his dad. They were both wearing suits. Persephone was standing there as well. She smiled at Aphrodite.

Aphrodite stood there speechless.

"How did you get your parents to agree with you?" Donghyuck asked Mark. Mark only giggled.

"How'd you plan all of this," Donghyuck said.

"I have my ways," Mark smiled. Donghyuck finally was smiling. A real smile.

Mark leaned in and kissed Donghyuck on cheek. Donghyuck blushed.

I've had this idea in my head for the longest time and could never write it bc I still needed to write the other chapters but now I can finally write it.
