20 | nice to meet you

Donghyuck had dragged Mark down the stairs. He stopped when he finally saw his mom sitting down at the kitchen table.

"Mom!" Donghyuck yelled. He walked closer to her still holding onto Mark's hand.

"Yes," Aphrodite answered but didn't look up because she was writing down something in her notebook.

"Have you meet Mark already?" Donghyuck asked. Aphrodite looked up and saw Donghyuck standing there with a smile on his face holding Mark's hand.

"Yes. I meet Mark but I didn't meet him so properly," Aphrodite said. The way Donghyuck was holding onto Mark's hand. Aphrodite was 100% sure that they both had feelings for each other and they knew it.

"Hi! Nice to meet you. You already know my name is Mark Lee but I'm apart of Hades side and my older brother is Taeyong," Mark said a bit nervous.

"Nice to meet you! I'm guessing I'll be seeing you at Taeyong's and Jaehyun's wedding?" Aphrodite asked. Mark nodded his head.

"Along with my father Hades and younger brother Jisung," Mark said.

"Nice to know," Aphrodite said with a smile.

"Well I have to go back home. See you at the wedding," Mark said.

"Bye. It was really nice to meet you Mark," Aphrodite said. Mark nodded his head.

Donghyuck and Mark walked from the front of the castle. They were still holding hands.

"Are you excited for the wedding!" Mark yelled as they got closer to Taeyong. Taeyong and Yuta turned around and looked at Mark and Donghyuck holding hands.

"I'm a bit nervous," Yuta said. Taeyong turned and looked at him with a confused face and punched him on the shoulder.

"I'm the one who should be nervous not you," Taeyong said. Yuta only laughed.

"So you're nervous and excited?" Mark asked. Taeyong nodded his head.

"We'll be excited for you Taeyong don't worry," Donghyuck said with a smile.

"Bye Taeyong hyung," Mark said. Donghyuck was still holding onto Mark's hand and was following him.

"Can I go with you?" Donghyuck asked.

"My family came back and if they saw you with me. We'd be in trouble," Mark said chuckling.

"Oh alright I guess," Donghyuck said a bit sad but it was for the best. He didn't Mark to go get in trouble.

"Bye Donghyuck," Mark said. Before Mark could turn around and head to his castle. Donghyuck grabbed Mark's face and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Bye Mark," Donghyuck said with a smile right after giving Mark a peck.

Donghyuck walked away back to his castle satisfied. Mark was a bit shocked but he smiled and had a blush on his cheeks.

They weren't too far from the castle. So Taeyong and Yuta both clearly saw. What they both noticed was how Donghyuck's aura changed to the dark pink color and Mark's aura changed to the light blue one.

Taeyong and Yuta weren't the only ones who saw though. Aphrodite was looking from the window. She saw them kiss.

"This isn't good. They both love each other way to much but they also want to make their families proud," Aphrodite said with not so satisfied look.

"It's impossible to ruin. Their perfect love," Aphrodite mumbled.

Mark walked in to the front gate. He saw Sicheng there with the same monotone face.

"Mark? Why is your aura lighter?" Sicheng asked. Mark looked at his arms and saw the light blue aura again.

"I've only seen that on Taeyong but yours is different," Sicheng said.

"What do you mean?" Mark asked. Sicheng pulled Mark closer to him. He inspected his aura.

"How? How much do you love Donghyuck?" Sicheng asked.

"I- uhhh.... I love him a lot," Mark said blushing again. His aura flared up. Sicheng widened his eyes and took a step back.

"Mark. You develop Perfect Love or at least I think so," Sicheng said.

"Perfect Love?" Mark asked confused.

"Do you still want to make your father proud?" Sicheng asked. Mark nodded his head.

"Do you want to stay on our side or switch to Aphrodites?" Sicheng asked.

"Our side. Same thing with Donghyuck. We want to stay on our sides but we still want to be together," Mark said.

"You developed Perfect Love Mark," Sicheng said.

"What is that?" Mark asked.

"You and Donghyuck want to stay on your own sides but still be together. You guys balance each other out. It's something nice but something impossible to happen," Sicheng said.

"Why is it impossible?" Mark was more curious.

"You either switch to their side to be with Donghyuck. Same thing with Donghyuck or fall in love with someone whose apart of our side," Sicheng said.

"Why can't we stay on our own sides and still love each other?" Mark seemed like a child with a million questions right now.

"I don't know. Your father and Aphrodite made the rules," Sicheng said.

"I'll change their minds so that Donghyuck and I could be together," Mark said with a serious face.

He walked into the castle and his aura automatically changed back to their natural dark blue aura. The living room was empty. His family was probably in their own rooms.

"I'll change my father's stupid rule," Mark mumbled. He walked into his room and slammed the door shut.

I wasn't feeling really inspired with this chapter. I was also on a writers block which is why. Hopefully it was good enough!
