Brynne's POV

I pressed the off button on my Iphone SE, and stared at it's blank screen. There were so many things I could do, but I didn't want to do anything.

Typically I'd work on a oneshot or maybe a chapter of a fanfic, maybe listen to some music, or watch Markiplier or Jacksepticeye fail at playing Cuphead, but I just wasn't in the mood right now.

I looked to my left. Tess sat next to me on the couch, and Kaitlyn was alone, sitting in the armchair. To my right was Michael with Evan laying on the floor in front of us. The tv was on, but nothing important was playing. Today was just uneventful.

"Hey guys, what should we d-?" I began asking as I looked to the floor. Our carpet had been replaced by a blue color that began to spark near Evan. Of course, he freaked out and jumped off the ground as fast as he could, startling the rest of us.

The blue thing grew bigger and bigger, a black void on the inside of the blue outline. Whatever it was began to drawing us in with a powerful wind that was stronger than all of us.

The first to enter was Evan, then Tess, then Michael, then Kaitlyn, and finally me. All I could see was the blackness of the void as I began to fall down into its endless trap.

I rubbed my eyes and felt an ache in my neck as I regained my consciousness. "Wha-What happened?" I murmured, feeling a hand take mine.

"We, uh, blacked out..." A voice explained as I met face to face with Michael. He smiled to me as Tess waves from his side. Evan and Kaitlyn were still asleep on the ground. Yet instead of the rug we had on the floor, it was a grey, hard floor.

I examined the room, it seemed so familiar to me. A laboratory with papers scattered everywhere, the walls were surrounded with water. A strange device was near Kate and Ev's bodies, it had a familiar blue to it. The blue that the portal had.

"You know where we are?" Tess asked me as I shook my head. "It's familiar but no, I have no idea."

Michael and Tess both gave me a blank stare as I watched them facepalm. "You're an idiot."

"Either we're dreaming the same thing, Brynne, or this is Gyro's lab." The two explained as my eyes widened. They were right. Either we were dreaming or we were in Duckburg, at Scrooge's Money Bin, inside of Gyro's lab.

"Wait... woah..." I blinked, ashamed of myself as well. A few groans were heard and we watched Kaitlyn and Evan struggle to wake and stand up. "Where are- never mind." The two stopped themselves, aware of their surrounding immediately.

"Y'know Brynne, for liking the guy who works here and being obsessed with DuckTales, you are completely stupid to understanding thing." Tess laughed as Kaitlyn and Evan looked to us.

"She of all people didn't know where we are? Wow, she really is a dumb dumb." Evan smirked as I rolled my eyes. Everyone laughed as I ignored them, listening to the sound of the elevator door ding.

"Well, Mr. McDuck, this one might actually work. When we left, a portal had opened. We might have the ability to send and receive things from other dimensions!" The ecstatic voice of Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera shouted as he jumped out of the elevator with a smile spread across his beak.

Tess and Kaitlyn's faces turned a little pink as he jumped out with that adorable smile on his face. Following him was Scrooge, his nephews, Webby, Launchpad, and Gyro.

The five of us stayed silent as the group turned and stared at us. I bit my lip, shaking a little. There was no way that this was happening...

"Hi. I'm Kaitlyn. Wassup?" Kaitlyn greeted, making a peace sign as everyone stared at her.

"Oh, uh, I guess we're introducing ourselves... so, I'm Michael." Michael smiles with a little wave.

"I'm Tess." Tess smiled happily.

"Uh, Brynne.." I replied quickly, looking to Evan to finished the introductions.

"Heyo, I'm Evan." Evan shrugged, making eye contact with Launchpad, which reddened his face.

"Woah..." The four children gasped, their eyes sparkling as they stared at us.

"Humans... incredible..." Scrooge whispered. Of course he knew, he's Scrooge McDuck. He knows everything.

We stayed still, waiting for someone to do something or say anything. Honestly, it was very awkward for us to stand in front of characters we knew without letting them know we knew who they were.

Scrooge cleared his throat, catching everyone's attention. "Looks like you've made a scientific discovery, Gyro. I'll need you to examine and catalogue one of them. Which of you will it be?" Scrooge raised a brow, turning to us.

Everyone had a smirk on their face as the simultaneously opened their mouths and shouted, "Brynne!"

My face turned red as Gyro grabbed my hand without saying a word and directed me to sit on top of a table.

Evan shrugged and went to introduce himself to Launchpad, and Kaitlyn and Tess immediately began speaking to Fenton, which left Michael stuck with the curious children as Scrooge came over to watch Gyro examine me.

This... is odd...
