fourteen - fixed

Lil Bulb's POV

Everyone was finally safe and well, thanks to everyone else's efforts to save the girls and boys. Evan stood very close to Launchpad, Michael kept staring at Mark, Brynne snuck glances at my father (hahaha-), Tess was holding Fenton's hand, and Kaitlyn has had her arms wrapped around Marshall since she popped through the elevator doors.

Each girl and boy explained their situation, in which Evan just walked out of Glomgold's, Tess ran for her life from the Beagle Boys, Michael has gotten lost after escaping Don Karnage with Fenton and Dewey, Brynne said she just left and hopped into Mark Beaks' helicopter, and Kaitlyn explained how Louie and Scrooge pushed a door open and Louie dragged her out as Scrooge tried tracking down Magica, who was absent during the rescue.

Basically, all of that was stupid but used for plot convenience so that the girls' crushes would open their eyes and stop being so blind to their obvious affections. Sorry, I'm just upset my new OTPs aren't canon, even though I just began shipping them a few seconds ago-

Anyways, I listened into a few conversations between the groups, but one of them caught my attention the most.

"Fenton, what does this do?" The blonde, Brynne, asked, pointing to a machine placed on the counter I was sitting on. The Latino turned and looked at it for a minute.

"Oh, uh... we don't know. We had made it and left it here, never to be used. It was near the ground after you all woke up though... it must've fell when your portal opened..."

Oh this idiot. I know what happened, mainly because it was my fault. I had actually broke the device, so I had been working night after night to fix it before anyone would notice.

I had actually fixed it, so maybe more humans could be transferred into our world, but, who knows?

"You think we could see what it does?" Tess quizzed, staring at the tiny machine in wonder. Fenton shrugged and looked to Gyro, who mumbled, "It probably doesn't work, so go ahead."

Tess and Brynne smiled, pressing the red button on it together. There was a bright flash as the color blue filled the room. It wrapped itself around Tess and Brynne, then going to Kaitlyn, Michael, and Evan. Before anyone could react, small portals surrounded their feet and the five disappeared into the ground, not a single thing heard or said by anyone....
