Benvolio's POV

The 24 hours were up, and the humans were let out of their "cage", seeing worried faces scattered on everyone on the other side of the door. What made the girls nervous though, were the cuts, scratches, and bruises that most of them had.

No word was said when they were all taken back to the lab. Scrooge only commented once, saying he wanted things to continue as if nothing had ever happened.

Instead of pursing him, and begging him I tell them, all five just continued doing their own things. Their own thing seemed to be the same thing, playing on their phones.

Evan looked at Brynne and nudged her a little, catching the blonde's attention. "Hm? Something wrong?" She asked as Evan brought his phone closer. Speaking seemed awkward in this moment, so all she did was show Brynne his phone, which was Evan's Wattpad profile. It was still the same as it was in their world, and Emily showed Brynne how he could chat with other people from their world, like their friend, Livy.

Brynne stared at him for a minute. "Are you telling me that I should update something, or were you just showing me that we have contact with our world?" Brynne whispered as Evan shrugged and replied, "Both I guess..."

Brynne nodded and unlocked her phone, going to her profile and scrolling through her list of books. Should she risk writing a chapter of one of her DT books, while in the DuckTales world? Or just do something else?

Evan grabbed Brynne's phone and went to his own profile, finding the reading list: Books for Brynne. Then he closed his eyes and selected a random book out of them all and handed the phone back to Brynne.

Tess, Kaitlyn, and Michael noticed what happened and seemed confused, so Evan messaged them all, saying he was forcing Brynne to read fanfiction, because she never does.

The car stopped and everyone looked up to see that they had arrived at Scrooge's Money Bin. Michael doubted she'd see Mark, so she decided to tag along with Brynne, Tess, and Kate, who were all going to the lab with Scrooge. This left Evan alone with the triplets, Webby, and Launchpad.

The five stared at Evan in silence for a minute as Dewey smiled. "You think Scrooge will let us go on an adventure? Something a little dangerous?"

Huey shook his head in disagreement. "No way. The farthest we can go with Evan is probably the beach if Scrooge is here. We don't need to anger our uncle any more than he's already been angered." Huey said, lowering his voice at the end of his sentence.

"Well, let's go then!" Launchpad smiled, grabbing Evan by the hand and walking with him across the bridge and down to the beach. The children ran after them, but slowed down when they saw Evan's reddened face.

"Webby, get your camera! We need to document this. Launchpad's *probably* forbidden love, narrated by Dewey Duck with the help of his brothers, Huey and Louie, as well as Webby, the photographer." Dewey narrated as his family laughed. The two ahead of them didn't notice, it was like the entire rest of the world was gone and it was just the two of them.

"I will not tolerate you distracting my employees while they are working. Understood?" Scrooge growled, pointing his cane at the girl who stood in front of him.
