nine - to make a man jealous (pt. 2)

Mercutio's POV

When the song finished, the girls and boys quickly rushed away from their dance partners and met up with each other. The party continued on as if nothing had happened, but the girls and boys couldn't get over the fact that the moment had happened.

"Okay, can we go back so I can get food now?" Michael asked as the four agreed with smiles. They made their way back to the snack table and Kaitlyn offered to pour everyone some punch as they grabbed food.

Due to them being starving af because Scrooge never fed them, they shoved food in their mouthes as if they'd never eaten anything before. Because they had eaten so much, they needed to quench their thirst, initializing them to chug the liquid punch as fast as they could.

That... wasn't the smartest solution.

After a few minutes of them being left alone, the girls were discovered by Mark, who called over Launchpad, who hollered for Marshall, who dragged over Fenton, who asked Gyro to come over and see what had happened.

The scene was something unlike anything the males had known. Evan was screaming and shaking Tess violently. Tess, being shaken by Evan, was crying either in pain or in sadness. Michael rubbed her eyes and tried to stop everyone from fighting, but she didn't seem to have much energy to put effort into it. Brynne smiled at the scene and told everyone to cheer up and just have fun, but none of them listened. Lastly, Kaitlyn seemed to change how she felt every few seconds. Every little thing distracted her, and she seemed to act as if she was mentally insane.

All five girls turned their heads when they noticed Louie was passing by them to get to the other side of the room.

"Wait, Louie-" They called out simultaneously, which led the duckling in green to turn around with a red tinted face.

"Y-Yeah?" He asked, trying to sound cool before his voice cracked slightly. In less than three seconds, he was surrounded by the group of humans.

"Louie, don't tell your brothers, but you're my new favorite triplet." Kaitlyn whispered, ruffling his hair. From behind, Tess caught him in a hug and began squealing over how cute he was.

"Aww, look at how red he's getting! It's adorable!" Michael gushed, which made Louie's face turn even darker than it was already. Evan smirked and said, "If I was younger, I'd probably ask him out..."

"No, no, no, I would ask him out-" Brynne interrupted, which triggered Evan to shout at her, then the other three butt in and yelled about how they would date him instead.

The five men watched this scene in pure and utter confusion. Then Gyro decided to ask the question everyone else was thinking:

"Do I have the right to harm a child?"
