four - mistakes

So, like... these aren't super in character and are kinda sorta bad... but like it'll be better because of the next chapter which will be juicy- also, unedited!!!!

Michael's POV

It was around 10 o'clock and sleep was nothing but a dream to me. How could I be tired when Mark Beaks was only mere miles away from me in Duckburg, so much closer now then ever before. Maybe I'm overreacting, but it sucks that everyone gets to see their crush but me and Kaitlyn.

It also sucks that someone... cough Evan cough... hates the man I love. I pulled out a journal that Gyro gladly gave me and opened it. The pages had ideas that were crossed out, sketches that were erased, and more. I kept flipping until I found a blank page and then I grabbed a pencil from a nearby desk and began to write.

'Uhh, hi notebook. My name is Michael and you... you're a book of amazing ideas that I would never have been able to come up with.

So, here we go... words... something. We just arrived in Duckburg today, and I kinda feel upset. I wish I could meet Mark Beaks, but... life sucks sometimes.

Anyways, that's all. Bye.'

I shut the book and handed it to Tess. She, Evan, Brynne, and I were all writing in it. We lost Kaitlyn though, Scrooge said she "left", but we assume she found the time machine. Nothing will stop her from seeing Marshall and young Scrooge.

I looked to Emily for a minute. "Hey, when you're done, could you hand me back the book?"

She shrugged and nodded. "Sure."

Tess's POV

I grabbed the notebook from Michael and happily took it. Now, it was time for me to write about what happened. Yay.

'Hi book, I'm Tess. Not much has happened since we arrived in Duckburg. I can't wait to see the city, meet everyone, the usual. Although, I've already met Fenton, and I feel nervous around him. I was talking to Brynne and Evan earlier since they got to see Launchpad and Gyro.

Evan admitted he felt nervous, but being around LP calmed his nerves, and he was chill around him after. Brynne, on the other hand, had a different experience. Due to Gyro asking her question after question and clearly examining her, she felt pretty awkward. So, great first impressions for my friends.

I think Fenton and I could actually have something. He makes me feel nervous and I just wanna hug him and cuddle, but these things take time. Yay....'

I hugged and closed the book. "Here Brynne." I handed her the book and looked to Brynne. "When you're done with the book again, could I see it?"

She nodded and I smiled.

Brynne's POV

"Thanks Tess." I thanked and grabbed the book and pencil from her hands. Time to spill everything...

'Skipping formalities, today was... awful. First, we all arrived in Duckburg, which was great until the others kindly volunteered me to sit on a table for a few hours and be examined by the one person that makes me scream whenever he walks onto the screen. So fun-

Then, I was left alone with him in complete silence since everybody left. Launchpad abandoned me because he always listens to Scrooge, then Tess and Emily has to go explore, and o have no idea what happened to Kaitlyn, Michael, and Scrooge, but only two of them returned afterwards. That was fun.

What else? I dunno, I think of more things to complain about later. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I hate having crushes sometimes. I didn't expect to actually meet one of them, so now it sucks trying to keep it a secret. Why did it have to be Gyro? Why couldn't it have been someone else?'

I shut the book and gave the material to Evan. "Oh, Tess, you're getting the book back, right? I'll need it when you're done."

Evan's POV

My turn!

'Welcome to the fourth entry by the one and only, Evan, aka Ev, or Mocha, or whatever really.

I've had a song stuck in my head all day, but I don't know if it's a song in this universe, so asking someone to play it would be stupid. Plus, Brynne was the only one to have headphones when we got here, and she was "busy" so I couldn't interrupt her.

Watching Tess and Fenton earlier was kinda cute, but I'm still upset Launchpad left. I wanted to hang out with him, maybe ask him some questions and get to know him. But, that dream died when he left.

So, yeah, that was fun. I wish I could just walk up to LP and be like, "Hey, I like you, let's chill," but I can't because reasons. So that's just great. Bye now.'

"Here Michael." I gave him the notebook and watched him smirk and cross out stuff. He then gave it to Tess, who did something similar, and then to Brynne who also must've edited something.

"Hey, can I see it?" I asked, wanted to see what was happening. I didn't read anyone's entry, but someone had messed with mine, Michael's, and Tess's. Brynne's was still blank, so I decided to change some things. ;)

I placed the book down on the counter and the four of us left with Scrooge to go to McDuck manor. Tess smiles at Fenton and Brynne gave Gyro a little wave before we left. I swear, right before the doors of the elevator closed, I thought I saw Fenton smile and Gyro wave back.

Kaitlyn's POV

"H-Hey, Marshall, you don't know who I am, so my name is Kaitlyn, and I u-uh... I'm here to kidnap you." I stared face to face at the sheriff as he blanked stared at me back.

Before he could react, I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the time machine I stole from Gyro. "Sit here, I'll be right back."

Searching around the town, I saw young Scrooge walking back to his tent, so I quickly ran up to him.  "Hey Scrooge, your voice is hot, anyway love you, bye." I said, kissing the top of Scrooge's head and leaving.

I squished into the tub with a confused Marshall and pressed a button to travel back to our time. The bright flash came back, and next thing I knew, the two of us were in the foyer of McDuck manor, and the time machine was no where to be found-
