I've come across a strange customer.
They come in, order one black coffee, make weird faces while drinking it, never finish it, and leave.
Every day.
They're a bit short, and very cute. We've talked. They didn't come in yesterday.
Or today.
I'm really worried.
Wait, they're signed up for the coffee program!
So I close the shop early and run to the computer.

I dial their number.
"Hey, is this Virgil Moore? I'm Roman, from the coffee shop. You haven't come in the past few days, and I'm worried."
"Roman? The barista? Hey, is my address on the program?"
"Yes."
"I need you to come. Please?"
"Ok. I'll be over in a second."
That's weird.
I grab my jacket and head out.

I knock.
"It's open!"
Walking in, I see Virgil, sitting on the couch. He's paler than usual, and he's wearing a baggy black t shirt and matching sweatpants.
"Roman, I need your help."
"What's going on?"
"My friend made some bad pasta and now I'm to sick to do anything." A/N roll with it please
"Do you want me to just stay and help?"
"That would be awesome. But my friend said it made their roommate act a bit weird, so be prepared. Theirs lasted a hour."
I look at Virgil closely, taking in their eyes for the first time. Beautiful green, dark and gorgeous.
"First thing first: soup. Do you have any?"
"In the cupboard."

So  we go for about a hour and a half,  and everything's normal. Just helping my crush through sickness.
And that's when the weirdness starts.
"Ro! Ro! Ro!"
"Yes?"
"Come sit with me?"
"Why?"
"RoRoRoRoRoRo! Come sit with me!"
I sit down by them, and Virgil immediately throws his arm around my shoulder, leaning on my arm.
"Ro!"
"Where'd you come up with that name?"
"I dunno," he says, and starts giggling. He's so cute when he does that...
"Vee? How about we play a little game?"
"I like the name Vee! And I like games!"
"Then we'll play truth or dare."
"Yay!"
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth!"
"Who's your crush?"
"You, silly!"
I just stare at him. The cute purple haired boy I'd been crushing on returning my feelings! I'm dead. I'm in heaven.
"Your turn!"
I put my arm around Virgil's shoulder.
"Dare."
"Dare! You pick dare! I dare you too... kiss me!"
Oh my god.
I'm freaking out.
I pull him onto my lap, and he turns to face me.
He connects our lips.
I kiss back, and he breaks to let out a giggle.
He hugs me, and falls asleep.
